Continuity mistake: When Kerry is talking to Doug about his fellowship proposal, his stethoscope moves a couple of inches higher on his neck, even though he never touches it.
Other mistake: When Doug and the nurses are watching the TV about a motorcycle accident, Kerry comes along and calls him 'Mark'. This could be a character error, but as Doug responds 'yeah', and they talk, it indeed becomes a production error. In real life, the person would have corrected her. (00:07:15)

Trivia: Doug Ross frequently hung his head low, appearing ashamed or thoughtful or privately amused, depending on the scene. This wasn't just an element of the character: George Clooney had taken to writing his lines on papers, sheets, and other props.
