Samantha is Earthbound - S8-E16
Revealing mistake: When Samantha is in the tree at the party, you can see the reflection of the branch against the "sky" revealing blue painted sky.
Witches and Warlocks are My Favorite Things - S3-E3
Revealing mistake: When Samantha, Darrin, and Aunt Clara are "frozen" in the living room by Hagatha, Enchantra, and Endora, just as Maurice is summoned and appears, Samantha moves her right foot noticeably while Darrin and Clara remain frozen.
Revealing mistake: When Endora turns Darrin into "Ringo"/"Prince Valliant" when he touches his "hair", it moves, revealing it's a wig.
Revealing mistake: When Samantha and Bombay are at the top of Mt. Everest, Samantha's shadow can be seen on the "sky" behind the rock revealing a blue backdrop.
Revealing mistake: When Endora goes to Darrin's workplace and puts the spell on him she appears to be floating. Look closely and you can see the wires holding her up.
Samantha's Yoo-Hoo Maid - S6-E2
Revealing mistake: Whenever Esmeralda sneezes and makes the furniture in the living room levitate you can see the wires.
Allergic to Macedonian Dodo Birds - S4-E11
Revealing mistake: When Samantha is on the roof with Aunt Clara, her shadow is visible on the sky background... especially lower left.
Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse - S8-E25
Revealing mistake: When Darrin brings the ladder around to the front of the house, it's obvious this is not the actual house but a stage set; the background is obviously a painting and the driveway/garage have disappeared. Further the outside and windows are too narrow to be the actual house. The den is larger than the small facade in the scene.
Samantha's Da Vinci Dilemma - S4-E17
Revealing mistake: When Leonardo is going through the revolving door his arm/elbow goes through the frame where glass should be.
Revealing mistake: When Aunt Clara "parachutes" in the background is not the neighborhood background shown throughout series with Kravitz across the street...and no pine forest. It's obvious a stage background.
Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse - S8-E25
Revealing mistake: When the officers pull away, the shadow of the car is visible on the painted backdrop of trees. This isn't the neighborhood of Morning Glory Circle with the Kravitz House across the street. The shadow reveals it's a stage backdrop. Further, this is basically the same as Allergic to the Macedonian DoDo Bird from Season 3, with the same DoDo Bird costume.
I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: After the hairbrush comes to Samantha, she starts to brush, and you see the lights reflect off the wires used for the gag.
Revealing mistake: After Samantha restores The Leprechaun's power he walks into the backyard, and when Endora, who's on the roof, uses her powers to have him float up to join her, the wire cables can be seen giving him the needed boost upwards. Later, the cables can be seen again when Sam lifts him up in the living room. (00:09:40)
Marriage, Witches' Style - S5-E21
Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode, during Serena and Samantha's second meeting with Mr. Beams, in the wideshots of the two women sitting on the couch and also when they're both poking their heads through the doorway, Serena's body double actually appears face-forward. Additionally, in the closeups of Serena and Sam on the couch, both are played by Elizabeth Montgomery, and we can see the wall's color difference behind them due to the use of the split-screen technique. Serena Stops the Show - S6-E22
Revealing mistake: The face of the double can be seen when Samantha and Serena come from the kitchen. (01:10:00)
Samantha the Dressmaker - S2-E22
Revealing mistake: When Samantha and Endora are in Paris reviewing models in dresses, the models are frozen because Samantha and Endora are not supposed to be in the dress shop. One of the models, instead of being frozen, is seen blinking her eye and moving slightly.
Revealing mistake: The series is supposed to take place in Westport, CT. Westport, CT doesn't have palm trees or the California mountains. Several shots outside of the house reveal the mountains and palm trees are when driving in several episodes.
Answer: The original diamond and white gold heart necklace was given to Elizabeth Montgomery by her then real-life husband, William Asher, who also directed the show. She wore it in nearly every early episode. When the necklace was lost or stolen about mid-way through the series, Montgomery had two replicas made from rhinestones. She wore either one of those for the rest of the show's run.
