The Salem Saga (1) - S7-E3

Deliberate mistake: The drunk that is always in the bar in New York is the same drunk in Salem that sees Sam twitch the witch on the signs from an old hag to a young witch resembling her.

Sam's Psychic Pslip - S7-E25

Other mistake: When Larry is in the living room asking where Darrin is, before Darrin is zapped back, the kitchen door is opened and closing. Nobody is in the home or in the kitchen. The door shouldn't be opening. Likely, a crew member was exiting the living room and the editors did not catch the door swinging.

Samantha is Earthbound - S8-E16

Revealing mistake: When Samantha, Darrin and Dr. Bombay are in the living room and walk as a group towards the television, you can see the crease in the carpet where the floor is going to collapse.

Serena's Richcraft - S8-E17

Revealing mistake: Darrin casts a shadow revealing painted sky background when he goes out to pay cab. Later, when he goes out to get in helicopter the neighborhood is not the neighborhood we normally see outside the Stevens' house. There's an Amoco gas station across the street.

Darrin Stephens: Sam, don't expect your mother to be gracious. She doesn't do imitations.

Samantha Fights City Hall - S5-E9

Trivia: Because Erin Murphy, who played Tabitha, was ill, her fraternal twin sister Diane took her place in this episode. By this time, Erin and Diane didn't resemble each other as much as they once did, and it was obvious to regular viewers of the show that it wasn't the Tabitha they were used to seeing. The producers received several letters asking "Who was that?"

Question: In one episode (not sure which one but it was in the Dick York era), Darrin was arguing with Samantha and said something like "Confiding in a woman is like broadcasting by Telstar." What exactly does that mean and what was Telstar?

Answer: Telstar was an early communications satellite system. Darrin, in a particularly sexist manner reflective of this era, is saying that telling a secret to a woman means it is guaranteed to be "broadcasted" to multiple people.
