CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

The Lost Reindeer - S14-E11

Character mistake: When Russell is reading the bio for the suspect who had dressed as a reindeer at the party and was looking for her contact lens, the bottom of the page lists "Identification Databases Checked:" and lists several states and 5 cities under each one. Alabama and Colorado have the same 5 (Alabama) cities listed. Also, the form lists several pieces of information - Class, DOB, Height, Weight, Eyes, Eyes, Hair, Restrictions, Contact Lens Serial No and Criminal History and Occupation. (Yes, "Eyes" is there twice.) The first "Eyes" field lists a name (emergency contact?), which illustrates how badly the prop department prepared this form. Lastly, despite the suspect's DOB being 04.12.1987 (either April 12 or December 4), and this episode taking place in December 2013, Russell states that she is 23 (but should be 26). (00:15:20)

Helpless - S14-E8

Continuity mistake: The son of a CSI is waiting in a hospital hallway. He is sitting on a bench with his elbows on his legs and his hands fisted together on his chin, holding a red jacket. Morgan approaches him, and the next shot shows him with one his left hand across the right leg and the right under his chin. The jacket is also in a completely different position.

The Fallen - S14-E19

Factual error: DB Russell gives Mark Roberts a bottle of water to hold. In the blood he leaves his fingerprint on the bottle. Stokes is watching with another policeman the CCTV footage from the interview room. Stokes then says grab a screen shot of the water bottle. They zoom in and low and behold they get a totally clear fingerprint. No way to get that much clarity from a CCTV camera. (00:17:00)

David Doyle

The Fallen - S14-E19

Continuity mistake: Sarah Sidle is talking to Deborah Hughes in the hospital at the end of the episode. Shots from behind Deborah has her ponytail down her back, shots of her front has her ponytail over her left shoulder. (00:39:00 - 00:41:00)

David Doyle

Uninvited - S14-E18

Continuity mistake: Finn places a male symbol sticker on a board. First of all, the symbol is wrongly placed; the arrow should be pointing to the 2 o'clock position but It is at 5 o'clock. Next shot the arrow points to 7 o'clock.

Long Road Home - S14-E17

Continuity mistake: The dead blonde girl's head changes from looking over her right shoulder to looking straight to looking over her left shoulder in three consecutive shots before anyone touches her.

Girls Gone Wild - S14-E10

Continuity mistake: When the girls are first seen standing on the side of the road, Morgan has red sandals on; when she has her foot up on the bumper of the car, she appears to be wearing black sneakers and then has the sandals again when the shot pulls back.

Frame by Frame - S14-E5

Factual error: Throughout the episode, people refer to the previous murder as occurring 14 years ago. That puts it in 1999, yet we know it was in 2000, thanks to photos and other evidence.

Take the Money and Run - S14-E2

Revealing mistake: When the shot security guard's wife demands to see him before he's taken out of the casino, the body bag he's in is unzipped, and the "dead" body very swallows, a fraction of a second before the focus is pulled back to his wife.

Pilot - S1-E1

[To a room full of dead corpses, after Holly Gribbs was frightended into hysterics.]

Play with Fire - S3-E22

Question: Why would Catherine take the blame for the lab explosion? If anyone was to blame it was Hodges. Since he accidentally turned on the hot plate and even admits that sometimes it gets switched on by others accidentally, if he had bothered to make sure he didn't switch it on before leaving the room, the explosion never would have happened.
