V: The Final Battle: Part 3 (2 Hrs) - S1-E5
Corrected entry: Diana manages to escape at the end by stealing a shuttlecraft. But how did she manage to get there, when most of the mothership (and certainly the landing bay) was contaminated with red dust? (01:18:00)
Correction: Good villains always have a secret escape plan. The motherships are HUGE, it's not beyond credibility to think there might be a secure escape route (with an equally secured shuttle) for the leadership.
V: The Final Battle: Part 3 (2 Hrs) - S1-E5
Corrected entry: When Steven is making his escape at Visitor HQ, he runs through a room full of dead Visitors, most of them slumped in their chairs. This indicates that they have been killed by the red dust. But if that's true, then the room would still be contaminated, and would kill Steven and his colleague before they got any further. (01:21:35)
Correction: The red dust is a medium to spread the bacterium that kills the Visitors. Since its a powder and not an aerosol, it would settle on surfaces after a few minutes. The bacteria in it would also take considerable time to spread into the ecosystem. It is possible that if he didn't breathe any actual dust that he and his buddy could make it out.
V: The Final Battle: Part 1 (2 Hrs) - S1-E3
Corrected entry: There have been some occasions - particularly the L.A. Medical Center - where the Resistance fighters could have picked up Visitor weapons. So why is Donovan the only one (until near the end) to use a Visitor blaster regularly?
Correction: There must be a good reason considering how easy it would be to pick up at least one or two of them in each battle. Perhaps Donovan knows they are very difficult to recharge with Earth power sources (He uses a pistol instead of his laser in a few scenes after he has it). Perhaps they are coded like the lasers in Lost in Space? (This would also make sense since he didn't capture his, he got it from Barbara who would have it "unlocked" while on duty.)
V: The Final Battle: Part 1 (2 Hrs) - S1-E3
Corrected entry: The Visitors (both the golden-helmeted Guardsmen and the Troopers) wear bullet-resistant flexible armor which proves effective even against .223 Remington rifle rounds at close range. But in the hospital scene, the Guardsmen are blasted with machine pistols and shotgun buckshot, and do not stand up again. Pistol rounds and buckshot pellets have lesser velocity and killing power than rifle rounds, so how can they affect the Guards' armor? Ham Tyler and his armor-piercing ammo appear in the story AFTER the hospital raid.
Correction: Considering the spread of a shotgun, its entirely plausible that the troopers took a shotgun pellet in the spot between helmet and collar where they are not armored. It could also be that sheer blunt trauma from the MAC-10 .45 rounds stunned them or rendered them unconscious.
V: The Final Battle: Part 3 (2 Hrs) - S1-E5
Corrected entry: In the first two episodes, the Visitor HQ was protected by a laser fence, which had to be powered down from the inside before Julie could be rescued. Yet in Part 3, the Resistance simply run across the front lawn and attack the HQ. What happened to the fence? (00:58:15)
Correction: The old woman cleaner on the inside caused a power cut which cut the power to the fence.
Corrected entry: When Donovan disguises himself as a Visitor and stows away aboard a Visitor craft a second time, the Visitor Sergeant who tried to kill him previously leaps on board at the last minute and stands beside him. There is absolutely no way he wouldn't recognise Donovan throughout the journey. (00:49:45)
Correction: Maybe, maybe not. To the Visitors, humans are, essentially, animals (even food). A real person seeing a strange black labrador retriever might well not recognize the same dog later on (they might just think it is another black lab). When the Visitor fought Donovan before, he only saw him as an animal - remember too, the Visitors were all in disguise. Seeing Donovan again just didn't trigger a recognition response.
V: The Final Battle: Part 2 (2 Hrs) - S1-E4
Corrected entry: When the pumping station is blown and the water rushes out, a sign reading 'Space For Rent' is briefly visible. Since it appears that there are no free grounds around the plant, and the plant itself would hardly make such an offer, the appearance of the sign is rather curious.
Correction: This mystery is now solved: the footages of the flooding were simply taken from the 1974 movie 'Earthquake', starring Charlton Heston, Lorne Green, and Genevieve Bujold.

Correction: This is not a mistake, as the resistance fighters have by now been provided with the teflon-coated rounds which are able to penetrate the Visitor armour.
Correction: The blast on the front of the shirt is from the result of the real Donovan getting hit in the chest in ep2 of the original miniseries. He is taken aboard the mothership, but later escapes disguised as a Visitor. His human clothes were left aboard the ship, which the fifth columnist used to disguise himself as Donovan in the scene mentioned. This is not a mistake.
