Revealing mistake: When Kyle, Elizabeth and Robin are in the truck being chased by Mr. Chiang, in all the outside shots of the truck it is very easy to see that all three of them have been replaced by doubles. (00:09:05)
Continuity mistake: The last time Donovan hits Diana's craft with a laser, he hits it on the right side. But inside the craft it's the left hand side that explodes. (00:04:40)
Continuity mistake: When Diana is being chased by Donovan after crashing her craft, she has her normal human eyes. But during Donovan's strangulation attempt she has lizard eyes. As we saw in the original series, a Visitor's human eyes had to be removed by hand before the lizard eyes could be seen underneath. (00:05:30)
Other mistake: At the end of episode 2, Robin escapes from the Visitors into the wilderness. In episode 3, she's seen in an internment camp with no explanation as to how she got there. She is also wearing different clothes. She later escapes the camp along with other resistance members. Then at the beginning of episode 4, she is back alone in the wilderness, wearing the same clothes as at the end of episode 2. My guess is that episode 3 was added as an afterthought. (00:01:30)
Plot hole: Ham Tyler doesn't recognise Kyle Bates even though he met him in the internment camp in episode 3. Ham also makes exactly the same remark about Nathan Bates in both episodes. (00:10:30)
Dreadnaught - S2-E2
Other mistake: After the transformation, Elizabeth is brought home. She lies asleep on the sofa. Who had the time to apply makeup to her? Her nails are shining, which means that someone has applied some polish on them. It is obvious that no actors (even male) will ever play without makeup; however, they should not have applied such an evident makeup to Elizabeth. (00:09:30)
Dreadnaught - S2-E2
Continuity mistake: After a talk with Diana on the mothership, Lydia is left alone and then she takes a message out of her uniform. She wears a ring on her left middle finger and her nails are painted red. In the following shot we see Lydia's hands put the message into a box. The hands do not have their nails painted and wear no ring whatsoever. (00:31:45)
Revealing mistake: During the title sequence when Blair Tefkin's name comes up, Mike Donovan is riding a horse. A Visitor craft passes overhead and shoots at Donovan, but the laser appears out of nowhere instead of from the craft. (00:01:05)
Revealing mistake: When Robert and Julie are attacked by snakes outside the cave, notice that in the shots when you see the backs of Robert and Julie there are hardly any snakes on the ground (I counted one) compared to other shots. The shots of Robert's leg as he sweeps the snakes away are almost certainly of a snake handler instead of the actor. (00:37:45)
Dreadnaught - S2-E2
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth's arm is waving about above the cocoon, it is covered with scaly skin. But when she is seen standing up pulling the scaly skin off her face, both her arms have no scaly skin, and there wasn't enough time for her to remove it. (00:06:00)
Revealing mistake: When Ham drives the van through the road barrier, the pieces fall off very easily considering how slowly he was travelling. In the next shot it is shown that the remaining barrier sections are both split vertically, revealing that they were sawed in the same direction beforehand, then the 'broken' pieces loosely affixed before the collision. (00:32:50)
Audio problem: When the two dogs attack the Visitors, you can see them biting the Visitors on the ground but barking is still heard. (00:24:25)
Visible crew/equipment: When Diana and Lydia are walking in the mothership corridor there are two things to look out for. When Lydia first starts talking a section of the whitescreen appears in the top right of the picture. Then a couple of seconds later the shadow of the camera appears on the door to her left. (00:07:05)
Revealing mistake: When Donovan finds Diana's abandoned car in the desert, the outside shots of the chopper reveal that it is not Marc Singer at the controls. (00:36:40)
Dreadnaught - S2-E2
Audio problem: When Ham Tyler is shooting at Diana, two holes are made in a piece of wood behind her but only one shot is heard. (00:37:40)
Dreadnaught - S2-E2
Plot hole: At the press conference Ham Tyler positions himself only a few feet in front of about half a dozen security guards, yet not one of them notices him, even when he starts shooting. (00:35:45)
Plot hole: In the opening scene we see Mike and Kyle driving in the truck. Kyle remarks that Mike has been driving since midnight and it is broad daylight outside. So they have supposedly been driving for several hours. Yet they start talking about their mission as if they have only just got in to the truck. As anyone who has been in that kind of situation knows, everyone always discusses the important stuff at the start of the journey, so it is clear that the scene has been poorly scripted. (00:02:00)
The Rescue - S2-E13
Visible crew/equipment: The boom mike is visible at the top of the screen shortly after James starts talking to Diana in the mothership control room. (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: When Chris and Ham are sitting down talking about The Conversion process, Ham gets up and walks over to the map. When he turns around Chris is suddenly standing in front of him, whereas he should still be sitting down. (00:37:35)
