Continuity mistake: In the opening shot of Apu serving his customers, you can see Martin wearing a purple shirt. However, later when all the customers are grumbling about the price, you can see Martin walk away wearing a white shirt.

Continuity mistake: In the air duct, the dog comes up behind Willie in a straight line and licks his feet, we saw what the duct looked like when Willie turned around. However, when the children start throwing stuff at the duct, from the outside there is a sharp bend right behind where Willie and the dog are that wasn't there in the internal shots.

Continuity mistake: When Homer sees Marge and Moe near the end, the coffee table changes size between shots. It's large when Moe sits on the couch.It's smaller when there's a shot of Homer and long again when the high shot shows Homer walking out (when his rags are stuck on it)

Continuity mistake: When Lisa and Marge go on the tour, when the film has finished the woman turns it off with a remote controller and puts it behind her back. In the next shot from behind her it isn't in her hands and there is no sign of a pocket or any indication she put it anywhere else.
Continuity mistake: When Homer and Marge are in bed Marge moves up and we can see she isn't wearing anything, but in the close up you can see that she is wearing her pyjamas - note the thing around her neck, then it's back to nothing.
Cape Feare - S5-E2
Continuity mistake: When Bob has finished singing the score of the H.M.S. Pinafore, an English flag comes down. But when he draws his sword to kill Bart, the flag is gone. Where could it have gone?
Answer: Willy referred to an encounter he believed he had with actual aliens, while Wiggum thought he was referring to the arcade game.
