Buffy The Vampire Slayer

The Harvest (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: On the night of the Harvest, Cordelia says that she is going to the Bronze - its a Friday. Strangely enough, everyone seems to be back at school the next day - a Saturday.

00:18:20 - 00:42:50

Correction: There is nothing in the school scene after the Harvest stating that it is the following day. It could be the Monday.

The Harvest (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: The stake Xander uses to kill Jesse disappears immediately afterward. It's not in Xander's hand, but if it was buried in Jesse's chest it would have clattered to the ground as he turned to dust.

Correction: If a stake in in a vampires chest & not touching another person then the stake also turns to dust (this has happened to various other vampires in the series).

The Harvest (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: Cordelia tells Buffy there's no cover charge to get into the Bronze, but later that episode, right before the vampires attack the Bronze, the bouncer is taking money from people on their way in.

00:18:20 - 00:31:50

Correction: The bouncer demands ID from the approaching vampire pack and gets upset when they don't show him any, but he didn't get any ID from Buffy or other patrons. It's possible that the bouncer has an understood relationship with underage clubgoers: pass over some cash instead of ID. Buffy would have learned about this earlier from Cordelia (after Cordelia insulted Willow but before Buffy went to speak to her).

The Harvest (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Buffy is gathering supplies in her bedroom, we see all of the usual vampire fighting supplies, such as crosses, holy water, and stakes. In addition to these, she has a jar of communion wafers. What are these supposed to do against a vampire?

Correction: According to Dracula and other legends, the Host repulses vampires just like crosses do (though there is no evidence that they actually harm them, perhaps explaining why they are not seen anywhere else on the show).

Spike: You listen to me. [Kneels in front of her.] I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you. [Buffy looks away; he reaches toward her face.] Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say, "I love you, " it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.
Buffy: [Quietly.] I don't wanna be the one.

Willow is turned into a ghost. Throughout the entire episode, she can't touch anything (can't turn the pages of a book, etc.), yet towards the end when she and Giles go to Ethan's shop, and she leaves, you can hear that she opened and closed the door, even though she can walk through walls and can't actually touch the door. The curtain moves when she leaves too.

The accent that Giles uses as his teenage self is Anthony Head's natural accent.
