Continuity mistake: When Phoebe goes to visit her mom for the first time, she takes a cookie from the cookie jar and leaves the lid off. But in one shot, the lid is back on. The lid is back off in the following shots. (00:06:36)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Joey is asking Ross if Bonnie's room will be free tonight, he is pointing his hands at Ross. In the very next shot they are in his pockets. (00:20:50)
Continuity mistake: At the end of this episode, Ross opens the door of Rachel's room, says "Hi", and then closes it. However, in the next episode (The One With The Jellyfish), this scene is shown again and changed: Ross opens the door of Rachel's room, says "Hi", and doesn't close it - he talks with Rachel and Bonnie with the door open. Continuity mistake: When Rachel tells Ross that she is still in love with him, her hair keeps changing from behind her ear to down when the camera changes angles.
Continuity mistake: When Joey wakes up all covered in sand, his right "breast" has a big crack. But when the camera angle changes, the crack has gone.
Suggested correction: The crack comes and goes as he breathes.
The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: Phoebe and her mother are in her mother's house at the beach. Phoebe has just found out that Phoebe senior is her real mother. Have a look at Phoebe's mother in this episode and the last episode of series 3 (The One At The Beach). Her hair is a lot shorter in series 4 even though no time has passed in the storyline. The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: When Chandler, Joey and Monica tell their story of the jellyfish bite Chandler says sometimes at night he still hears Joey's voice screaming "Do it ! Do it!". Joey says he yells it through the wall at night to freak Chandler out, but no nights have passed. They tell the story the same day the jellyfish bite occurred. Notice Rachel, Ross and Phoebe are wearing the same clothes they had before they left the beach house. (00:16:20)
