Continuity mistake: Tea begins pouring water from a bottle onto a cloth. Then it cuts to a shot far away from Tea, where she is still pouring, but the water cannot be seen coming out of the bottle, nor does the cloth appear to be wet. (00:11:31)
Continuity mistake: When Flame Swordsman stops attacking the worm, there is a shot of Yugi saying, "That worm has a strong advantage, fighting in its natural habitat." In this shot, Joey's left forearm is raised and his right arm is lowered. But in the next shot, both forearms are raised. (00:07:45)

Continuity mistake: When Joey opens the second scroll, the string that was wrapped around the scroll can be seen on Joey's left hand. He then hands the scroll to Solomon, and the string has disappeared from his hand. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters walk into the tent, in the first interior shot, there is a barrel outside the entrance to the tent that wasn't visible in the previous exterior shot. (00:04:18)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi approaches the glowing doorway, there is a close-up of his feet stepping on the step leading up to the doorway. His feet are next to the edge of the step, but when the shot cuts, he is further away from the step. (00:20:11)
Continuity mistake: When Solomon kneels down on the ground after getting chest pains, Tea asks if he's all right and puts her hand near the top of his right arm. Then there is a closer shot of Solomon where Tea's hand cannot be seen on his right upper arm. (00:02:29)
Continuity mistake: Tea is given a necklace by the girl. There is a close-up of her holding the pendant in her hand, but when the shot cuts, her hands are at her side. (00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: When the girl begins walking over to Yugi with the scroll, she is holding it with her hands against the bottom side. When the shot cuts, her thumbs are suddenly placed over the top side of the scroll. (00:04:42)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi and the Pharaoh are trapped in the room with the wall closing in, Yugi points to the rock capsule on the upper level. When he does this, the Pharaoh's left forearm is pointed downwards, but when the shot cuts, his left forearm is extended slightly to the left. (00:15:05)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters jump off the turtle and into the water, they re-emerge after landing. Joey is behind Yugi when he re-emerges, but when the shot cuts, he is in front of him. (00:13:11)
Continuity mistake: When Joey flies over the camp fire while riding Baby Dragon, the wide shot shows Yugi, Tea, Tristan, and Solomon a fair distance from each other. Then, in a closer shot, they are much closer together. (00:03:49)
Continuity mistake: When Solomon realises that his capsule is silver instead of gold, he is holding it with his thumb and index finger at the top. It then cuts to a close-up of the capsule, where his thumb and index finger are along the side of the capsule. (00:06:46)
Continuity mistake: A map emerges from the treasure chest and wraps itself around Joey. The map has stains on it, but when it cuts to a closer shot of Joey, the stains on the map have changed position. (00:14:48)
Revealing mistake: When Joey lands on the dragon's nest, he sits up and yells, "You're lucky you're up there, pal," to the dragon. When he sits up, a piece of hay in the nest can be seen layered over the bottom of his jacket, making it appear as if the piece of hay is floating. (00:03:28)
Continuity mistake: When the Pharaoh says, "I don't know how or why, but we've entered the world of capsule monsters," he is holding a capsule with two fingers pressed against the back, which changes to three fingers pressed against the back when the shot cuts. (00:20:28)
Continuity mistake: When Joey finds the treasure chest, in the shot of him saying "I'm rich, baby," he raises his forearms so that they are level with his shoulders. But in the next shot, his arms are raised in the air. (00:13:57)
Revealing mistake: When Yugi, Tea and Tristan see the three monsters headed towards them, in the shot where Yugi says "It's definitely not nothing," the front side of the Millennium Puzzle is completely blank and is missing the designs. (00:16:30)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi, Tea, and Tristan arrive in the forest inside the game, Tea has her hands on the ground when she asks where they are. Her left hand is positioned ahead of her, but when the shot cuts, her left hand is positioned directly beside her. (00:15:33)
Continuity mistake: When Dr Brisbane shows the main characters where he last saw Solomon, the characters are all standing side by side and are aligned with one another. When the shot cuts, Tristan has suddenly rotated partially to the left. (00:12:14)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi comes across the rock capsule, he points at it with his right hand. When the shot cuts, his right hand is on the ground. (00:16:05)
