Continuity mistake: When Tsubasa in the sweeper position dispossesses Teppei Kisugi, his facial expression and the position of his leg and the ball are different from shot to shot. (00:20:05)
Other mistake: After the scene with Roberto and Tsubasa's mom, look behind the lanes of the 200 meters (above the fifth); one of the athletes in the background is sitting in midair. (00:07:20)
Continuity mistake: The Shuutetsu players are in front of the gates of the Wakabayashi to get to the match with him. In the wide shot the leftmost ones are in a sunlit area (the rays come through the bars of the gate), but in the closer view they are in the shade. (00:02:05)
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: While Taro is getting to Shizuoka, we see the Nankatsu public schoolers meeting again. Ryo greets Tsubasa and next to him there's a team member with shorts. When everyone follows Tsubasa, next to Ryo the guy is wearing long pants. (00:14:05)
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When all the other players interrupt Tsubasa's training to beg to have extra training as well, Roberto's position on the field changes and so does the number of balls by him (then there's a last shot when he's next to the goal, but every player is in position so a cut in time can be assumed). (00:11:40)
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Other mistake: In the opening longshot of the Shuutetsu sparring match with Mizukoshi, the side on the right has 10 players instead of 11. (00:07:15)
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Roberto and Natsuko Oozora are laughing after Tsubasa left, Roberto does not have the large dish in front of him, and he's leaning against the table with his left arm instead of the right. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: The Shimizu goalkeeper reacts to Tsubasa's shot in two different poses. In the second he also lost his gloves. (00:19:15)
Continuity mistake: The first time we see Tsubasa's old friend Yayoi, she's surrounded by different people in the opening shots, and a different new batch later again when she reveals her name. (00:15:25 - 00:19:40)
Other mistake: When the Shimada players listen to the pep talk from their number 10, their jerseys just go crazy; some have written "Shimada" on it, but some others "Shimad" and there's a guy with just "SHIMA" on it. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: While Roberto explains the strategy to his mom, Tsubasa is busy fending off 2 opponents. In the first shot though there are 4, two of them just disappeared and his teammate Urabe appears instead. (00:16:35)
Factual error: The goal kick after 0-2 in the Nankatsu-Shimada game is illegal, with a (nondescript) player shown kicking the ball forward to himself rather than passing. (00:16:20)
Other mistake: Wakabayashi and Ishizaki are shown in this episode as the only 2 players on the bench. The team is formed by 15 players, there should be another 2 subs. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: Takeshi Sawada leaves everyone on the left wing in the dust. He beats an opponent that from the ground says "He's incredible." The guy behind him got himself a pair of spectacles in between shots. (00:13:40)
No Easy Way - S1-E12
Continuity mistake: In the second qualifying match, Tsubasa advances towards the keeper from the first match (blue jersey) and scores against a new one (light beige jersey). (00:11:15)
No Easy Way - S1-E12
Continuity mistake: When Tsubasa first scores, the keeper has no gloves, when Tsubasa scores a second time the gloves go from blue with a dark red back to yellow, and when he seals his hat-trick, the keeper has white gloves with the back blue like his jersey and then yellow. (00:10:00)
No Easy Way - S1-E12
Continuity mistake: In the first shot, from distance, of the bench, you can spot Wakabayashi sitting with a grim look on his face. A closer shot that follows shows nobody on the bench. (00:03:45)
No Easy Way - S1-E12
Audio problem: At the beginning of their conversation outside the house, the Captain and Roberto's audio is off-synch with the mouth animation. (00:01:40)
Other mistake: Talentless footballer Ryo Ishizaki juggles the ball with his foot when he's chilling riverside in a way that not even the most skilled pro in the world could pull off, not unless the ball was tied to an elastic string. He's bouncing it in a diagonal pattern just moving his ankle and somehow the ball pushed forward gets back to his foot each time. (00:06:05)
Other mistake: Misaki reminds Ishizaki about the next phase of the selection for the team. When he replies, someone drew eyelids on them, but the same color of the white of his eye. (00:02:30)
