Continuity mistake: During the Triangle Jump (a manoeuvre that virtually any referee would sanction as unsportmanship conduct and dangerous play) one of the Tachibanas, wearing number 10, heads the ball for the other Tachibana...who is wearing number 10 too. (00:20:40)
Continuity mistake: In an act of murderous unsportmanship, Nakanishi damages the pitch trying to smash Tsubasa's leg. The pitch is pristine in the next shot though. (00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: Wakashimazu (not yet revealed) is watching the end of the match on TV. His travel bag is on the right shoulder, as opposed to the previous episode, but gets back on the left side in the next shot. (00:10:00)

Continuity mistake: Ishizaki listens in disbelief to his coach saying that Hanawa is the strongest team of the group. He points at himself, then in the next shot his arm is already down his side. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: The hirsute character next to Sanae and the other cheerleaders has a yellow sleeve at first, then grey. (00:06:15 - 00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: Ishizaki makes an upbeat comment about Morisaki's performance, but Manabu takes exception. During the exchange, one of the boys in the background has green pants that turn blue and green again. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: When Morisaki catches the 90th shot, there's nothing on the field as he falls, but in the next shot he lies prone surrounded by footballs. (00:18:35)

Continuity mistake: Behind Sanae when she hears someone else calling for Tsubasa's name, there are two spectators with a distinct appearance; one has a brown sweater with The Letter "K", the other a green shirt and indigo pants. Neither is in sight in the wider angle, and then they magically turn into a pea green K sweater and a blue shirt. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: Morisaki parries a header from Shimada's number 8, but during the 'freeze' in action that highlights the dramatic save, a player kicking the ball is instead shown, and in the next shot we see a number 10 (with different hair from the usual number 10) in front of the goal. Morisaki is also back wearing a number 1 jersey. (00:08:00)
Continuity mistake: When Sanae gets mad because the teacher is cheering for Tsubasa just as she does, the people behind her change in close-up. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: Commenting on Izawa's goal with the coach, Roberto Hongo has for some reason a big afro; his hair is almost doubled in size. (00:06:10)
