Trivia: Director Chris Weitz did a little trick when Edward gets out of the truck after Bella's birthday party and they are arguing. They put Edward next to the camera on the right but used a double dressed like Edward in the driver's seat. When Edward gets out, it is the double and then when the real Edward steps in front of the camera it appears he got there faster than humanly possible. (Entertainment Weekly, Jan 1, 2010).

Trivia: In this episode, when Sam is talking to Sookie in his office asking if she can hear his thoughts, he tells her she always has a job working at Merlotte's. Once Sookie leaves the office, the camera pans to a painting on the wall of a dog protecting the little girl. It is kind of a foreshadowing that Sam is a shapeshifter (he shifts into a dog) who is always looking out for Sookie and she is not even aware of his supernatural ability.

Trivia: Ed Helms' toothless grin was emblazoned on posters for The Hangover and it turns out the holey smile wasn't just a gag. "It is totally real," Helms, 35, tells People. "I have an implant. An adult tooth never came in and when I was 16, they did a permanent implant." "We started to do different tests with prosthetics and blacking it out and nothing worked, " Helms says. "I wasn't eager to take out my implant because my mouth is healthy, but I talked to my dentist and he was like, 'Yeah we can do it!' My dentist was really into it."

Trivia: The Cullen crest depicts 3 images: the hand (faith, sincerity), the lion (strength, ferocity) and the trefoil (perpetuity). Jasper, Emmett, and Edward wear the crest on wristbands, Rosalie wears the pendant on a necklace, Alice wears it on a choker, Esme as a bracelet, and Carlisle as a ring.

Trivia: At the end of the movie, when the credits are rolling, you see Rob and Kristen walking and then falling on their backs in the grass in the forest. This forest scene was deleted from the movie. What happens after they fall back is that Kristen asks Rob if he really wants a taste of her blood. He says yes. She offers her finger (right hand) and puts it in his mouth. He bites it and when she reacts a little, he calls her a "fragile little human." According to the director, Catherine Hardwicke, it is Kristen's favorite scene.

Trivia: When Bella puts down the Rainier can next to the other Rainier can in the scene for Charlie (scene where Charlie is cleaning the rifle), note that the two cans line up to form the R in Rainier perfectly. Director Catherine Hardwicke noticed it and said it on the audio commentary.

Trivia: Stephenie Meyer (on the bonus features DVD) discusses how she wishes she had thought of putting the dream sequence in her book that is in the movie. When Bella dreams of Edward in her bedroom, he is in the room. Bella immediately sits up and switches on the light, and he is not in the room. The audience knows that Edward was in the bedroom with Bella, and Stephenie Meyer says, "Oh, I should have done that!" in the book.
