The Village (2004)

Trivia: M. Night Shyamalan likes to use red in his movies as a symbol of something of significance (see trivia for Sixth Sense and the color red). Here it signified "a bad color" for the people of the village, and they needed to hide this color from one who should not be spoken of, i.e. the "monster."

Trivia: At the ranger's office when the security guard was stealing the medical supplies, you see a cameo of M. Night Shamalayan in the reflection of the glass.

Other mistake: When Calvin is driving to the barbershop, he has just passed Colfax Street. He starts turning the steering wheel, but he is just pulling straight up to the shop, not making any turns.

Paycheck (2003)

Paycheck mistake picture

Revealing mistake: In one of the shots of a newspaper you see a serious grammatical error for a headline. The use of "it's" instead of "its". It was something to the effect of "Ahead of it's Time". Forgivable for a note left by a character, but a mistake that real newspapers just don't make. Just FYI: The actual headline is "Nexim Announces It's Answer to ARC's Living Display". (00:11:40)
