Corrected entry: In 1969 when Alan and Sarah play Jumanji, when Sarah says "Alan, look!", if you look on the board game there are only two tokens on there, but all four tokens should be there. Later on all when Alan gets sucked in all four of them are on.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
Corrected entry: When Bilbo runs down the hill, commencing his journey, he runs past a Hobbit with a wheel barrow and then a lady sitting with a straw hat. 15 secs later, he runs past another Hobbit standing with the same lady in the straw hat. (00:40:20)
Correction: Its not the same lady, she is just also wearing a straw hat and similar, but different clothes.

Ghostbusters (2016)
Corrected entry: When the vandal is spraying the Ghostbusters logo on the subway, he is using one spray can, but paints the ghost logo in black, white and red.
Correction: He has a can of spray paint in each of his hands. One black and one red. He uses his left hand to spray the black and his right to spray the red.

Independence Day (1996)
Corrected entry: The New York ship comes to a stop just above the tip of the Empire State building. Since the World Trade Center towers were several hundred feet taller, this means the ship should have collided with them and knocked them over, as they're only a few miles away, and the ship is easily larger than that. But after the city destruction, we see the twin towers still intact, if severely damaged.
Correction: The ship is higher than you think. The part that has the primary weapon is lower than the rest of the ship so that's why it appears to be lower, but it hangs higher above the rest of the city, including the twin towers. Besides, the roof of the twin towers are actually lower than the tip of the Empire state building at 417 meters, meaning that only the antenna of the WTC1 would have snapped off if the ship had been hanging that low.

Star Trek: First Contact (1996)
Corrected entry: Picard states in his log entry that the "alien" ship has detected the Phoenix's warp signature. Picard knows perfectly well that a Vulcan ship made first contact. Historically, he and the rest of the Starfleet doesn't use "alien" unless they are referring to an unknown race. This was only done to preserve the surprise of Vulcans walking off the ship.
Correction: Perhaps he was just being nostalgic. Since they have been on Earth in the past for a while he just empathizes the feeling these people had from a time before humans knew about extraterrestrials.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Corrected entry: When Palpatine, Anakin, and Obi-Wan are in the elevator tracks, they jump from the elevator coming down, shoot out a grappling hook then they all go through the door onto the floor of the hallway. They all go in at an odd pace. Palpatine gets thrown into the hallway first, then Obi-Wan and Anakin. But really they should all be getting thrown in at the same time, since only Anakin and Obi-Wan have the grappling hooks and Palpatine is holding onto Anakin's leg, which he should be influenced by him, and get thrown at the same time.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
Corrected entry: The TX cuts through the particle accelerator with its inbuilt saw, but the machine was on. This was trapping it and the liquid metal, making it unable to move. Somehow it is able to activate the saw without that too being caught by the magnetic field. Not to mention it was able to hold the entire saw completely steady while activating it.
Correction: It was still activated so it should be able to use its tools still. Could be the saw was mostly made up of titanium or aluminum which is not (or hardly) affected by the magnetic field of the accelerator and thus still usable.

Watchmen (2009)
Corrected entry: During the peace rally in the opening credits, the stem of the flower that is placed in the barrel of a rifle disappears in preparation for it to be digitally destroyed by the CGI gunfire. (00:09:40)
Correction: No, it never disappears except behind one of the leaves when the girl lets it go. I don't think the gunfire is CGI anyway, just use blanks. Maybe the flying leaves are CGI, but not the gunfire and the stem doesn't need to be digitally removed for that anyway.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Corrected entry: If Voldemort can possess a person who is writing or having his old diary, as he did it with Ginny, I'm asking myself why didn't he just possess Harry the same way, as Harry is also writing in it. I mean, if he could control actions of Harry Potter, his biggest enemy, it would be a perfect goal for Voldemort. Voldemort is very smart and he wouldn't miss that, so it's unexplainable how Harry didn't fall into the possession of Tom Riddle.
Correction: It took Voldemort months to possess Ginny, she had been writing in that diary for months and over the time Voldemort got more and more control over her. Secondly, this is a very young version of Voldemort, one who doesn't know about Harry and his connection with him so there is no reason for him to forget about Ginny and possess Harry instead (or as well). Ginny was all he needed.

Game of Thrones (2011)
Corrected entry: Rhaegal (Green/Bronze Dragon) has changed places with his brother Viserion (Creamy White Dragon) since being chained in S04E10. This error continues in S05E05 but is later corrected in S06E02, when Tyrion Lannister frees both dragons from the dungeon.
Correction: The dragons are connected to long chains and they could easily switch places. We do not see where they are connected to.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Other mistake: When they are meeting in Hogsmeade to discuss having Harry train them in Defense Against The Dark Arts, Susan Bones asks Harry if it was true he could produce a Patronus Charm. After Harry said yes, everyone is impressed and surprised. However in The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Harry produces a Patronus during the Quidditch match when Malfoy was dressed as a Dementor. This was done in front of the whole school. So everyone at the meeting shouldn't have been surprised.
Suggested correction: This is about a full corporeal patronus. This is much more difficult and nobody has seen Harry do that before.
He does produce a corporeal patronus at the quidditch match. As Dumbledore references at the end of PoA "I remembered the most unusual form your patronus took, when it charged Mr Malfoy down at your quidditch match."

Toy Story (1995)
Corrected entry: When Woody is about to be run over by a truck tire in the gas station, he could've easily moved. The driver wouldn't have seen him.
Correction: It was a quick reaction. Buzz ran away as he saw it coming sooner but Woody thought it best to stop moving right away, not knowing where to go. He didn't want to be found in the middle of the pavement in the gas station lights either.
Keep in mind that he was going to go further under the truck in a few seconds. There's no reason to suggest that he couldn't have done that earlier. He wouldn't have been seen.
Correction: The driver might not have seen him but there were people in the gas station and on the concourse who could well have done so.

Carlito's Way (1993)
Corrected entry: They play Patti Labelle's song Lady Marmalade. This isn't right for the time line of 1975 as the song wasn't released until 1982.
Correction: The song Lady Marmalade by Labelle was released in 1974 and became a hit in 1975.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
Revealing mistake: After Poe's X-Wing is destroyed, when BB-8 leaves the village and rolls off note all the distinctive hills and sand dunes in front of BB-8. Later, when Rey hears BB-8 with Teedo and she rushes off note the sand dunes in front of her, but after she rescues BB-8 and walks in the opposite direction those same sand dunes are now in front of them, which were also the same sand dunes in front of BB-8 when he left the village the night before.
Suggested correction: BB-8 is heading towards a background at night, the other instances are all near where BB-8 is since they are all focused around him. Rey finds BB-8, only possible if she is near the same background. BB-8 was going towards that background so can only be closer to it than before. Same goes for Finn as they crashed near where BB-8 was, since they were looking for him. They are not the exact same locations but a couple of miles apart, which produces the same background.
When Rey rushes toward Teedo and then when she walks away in the *opposite* direction with BB-8 the very same sand dunes are still in front of her and BB-8. Those sand dunes are also the exact same sand dunes right in front of BB-8 when he left the village. The correction states "They are not the exact same locations but a couple of miles apart," but they are in fact the exact same sand dunes and hills, certainly not miles apart, and I do not mean the general horizon "which produces the same background" (screenshots available now). The filming of these scenes was done at the same location.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Corrected entry: This is supposed to take place 18 months after the fight between General Zod and Superman where much of Metropolis was destroyed and leveled, especially where the remains of the World Engine lie, but the city looks completely untouched by these events.
Correction: The statement, "a good portion" of Metropolis has been destroyed, or its permutations, is a fallacy that people continue to promulgate. Observation of key images in Man of Steel, most prominently the point of view shots of the approaching military planes or the images of the city from Zod's ship, wil show that a very small percentage of the city was actually affected - no more than a few square blocks. This fallacy supports a common narrative but it does not meet with observable evidence.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Corrected entry: When Batman is pursuing the orange truck with the Kryptonite in it, at the beginning of the scene the truck is branded "Man" and later on it's branded "Iveco".
Correction: The truck is from the start an "Iveco". Perhaps you are confusing it with the tanker truck, the black one which could be a "Man".

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
Corrected entry: When the stormtroopers run out of the dropship onto Jakku there is a downed stormtrooper at the bottom of the ramp. If you look closely it's just an empty stormtrooper suit.
Correction: It's not an empty suit. You can't see that nor would it be logical. It's just a stormtrooper lying in the sand, probably dead.

Shadowboxing - S4-E9
Corrected entry: Sylar takes over Parkman's body, and has discussions with Parkman, who is a figment and isn't really there. However there are many times when a shadow is cast on Parkman. Most noticeable when they are in the diner in Texas and Sylar threatens to kill Lynette, and Parkman interjects (when Sylar instead takes a straw). You can see Sylar's shadow on Parkman, which isn't possible if he's not really there.
Correction: This is inside Sylar's imagination and in his imagination Parkman is there, thus he imagines a shadow falling over him.

The Revenant (2015)
Corrected entry: When Leonardo is comforting his dying son, he has his hand supporting his son's head. As he dies, with the other hand he takes some sort of necklace from his son's neck and puts it around his own. But he would have had to lay his son's head on the ground and remove his hand in order to do that.
Correction: His son's head is on the ground as he starts removing the necklace, right after waking up. His left hand was not supporting it. He pulls the necklace over his son's head, as he does so he lifts the head with his left hand and lets it go right after the necklace is clear of the head.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
Corrected entry: When Finn pulls Poe to the side of the corridor to tell Poe he's rescuing him, Finn's face changes from sweaty to dry and back again in three successive shots.
Correction: There are only 2 tokens on the board the whole time, the ones Alan and Sarah are playing with. The other 2 tokens only get on the board when Judy and Peter start playing in 1995.
