King Kong (1976)

Corrected entry: Whatever else he is Kong is a gorilla, a large ape. Apes are instinctively terrified of water (Tim Burton got it spot on in Planet of the Apes) and have to be patiently taught to overcome their fear in order to swim or walk through water. There is no way in the world Kong would walk through the East River as they show here, regardless of his size.

Correction: We don't know all of Kong's experiences on Skull Island, and thus do not know if they may have conditioned him to NOT be afraid of water. Maybe he once had a choice between swimming or getting eaten by a T-Rex or something. We just don't know.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ann is looking at herself in the mirror prior to meeting Jack Driscoll, it keeps changing to her wearing a wrap around her white under garment and then not wearing the wrap.

Correction: The frequent cuts during that scene are deliberate. There's a time lag between each cut as she practices how she's going to introduce herself to Jack. Plenty of time between cuts to drop the wrap and put it back on.

Corrected entry: When Harry's name comes out of the goblet of fire, you see the piece of paper from a close view, so close that you even see that there is nothing written on the paper, but Dumbledore reads out Harry's name anyway.

Correction: It was either written on the other side, or the writing didn't appear (magic, remember) until after Dumbledore grabbed hold of it.

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: Hagrid and Maxime Olympe walk towards the dragons. Harry is under his invisibility cloak in order not to be seen by Ms Olympe. Arriving at the spot where the dragons are kept, Harry lifts off the cloak. Ms Olympe has somehow disappeared.

Correction: She kept walking toward the dragons and didn't look back.

Ghost (1990)

Correction: It doesn't take much to find someone's address. She could have been listed, for all we know. If not, Carl's a sharp guy who works with computers. He could very easily have come up with her address, especially if she didn't do anything to hide it.

K.C. Sierra

Correction: When Molly talks to Carl about seeing her at the bank, she says, "Her name isn't even Oda Mae Brown. It's Rita Miller or something." Carl at that point knew that Oda Mae had taken all of the money so to find her he could have simply looked in a phone book to find her or, since Willy had already been to her business he would already know where she lived.

Corrected entry: When Obi-Wan and Yoda are watching the video of Anakin becoming Darth Vader, and killing younglings in the Jedi temple, Obi-Wan refers to Palpatine as the Emperor - but he would not have known that Palpatine had declared himself Emperor.

Correction: In that video, Palpatine refers to the Republic as "The Empire." If it's an Empire, it has an Emperor. Obi Wan came to the logical conclusion that Palpatine had declared himself Emperor.

Corrected entry: Hamond said that the dinosaurs were bred on Isla Sorna, even though in the first film we saw the dinosaurs being born on Isla Nublar.

Correction: Hammond was not completely forthcoming in the first movie. While some dinosaurs were born on Isla Nubar, Isla Sorna was the major "factory," so to speak.

Corrected entry: When Marty and the Doc are chatting in 1985A, they say they cannot go back to 2015 because it will be the alternate 2015. If that's true, how did old Biff take the time machine back to the Doc and Marty in 2015 after giving himself the almanac?

Correction: This happened for the same reason that the picture in part I takes more than a week to fade away. The changes in the timeline don't happen all at once (otherwise Marty would have ceased to exist the moment he pushed George out of the way in part I). Biff returned to 2015 before the new timeline existed. But by the time Marty and Doc got to 1985A, the changes Biff made in the 1950s already took effect.

Corrected entry: When Luke is knocked off his tauntaun, there is a clear shot of blood on his face. In the next shot (after his tauntaun is knocked down) it is gone. In the next shot is there again.

AdmRose

Correction: When the wampa knocks him to the ground, there's blood on his face. Then the tauntaun is knocked down, and there's still blood on his face. Then the wampa drags him off, and there's still blood on his face.

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: When Luke is attacked by the wampa, the wampa knocks him off his tauntaun with a clean hit to the chest. In the next shot there is blood on his face.

AdmRose

Correction: There is no clean hit to the chest: it's around the back of his head. There's no clear view of whether his claw hits Luke's face. The blood on his face is only visible after he hits the ground, even when looking frame-by-frame.

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film we see the probe droid crash to the surface of Hoth. The shot then changes to Luke on his tauntaun and we see the probe droid crash again.

AdmRose

Correction: The Empire has sent thousands of probes throughout the galaxy. The one Luke sees may not be the same as the first one. (Alternate correction: It's just the director showing the event from 2 perspectives. The first, a disorientating view of an ice planet. The second, our hero actually seeing the event and going to investigate).

K.C. Sierra

Correction: Way too vague. We're supposed to look at each episode to wonder which ones you're talking about?

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: When Superman is on the moon and straightens the American flag and Nuclear-Man comes from behind and knocks Superman and the flag down, the next shot shows both men fighting on the ground with the sun shining behind them. If that is the only source of light in the solar system, where is the light coming from in front of them?

Correction: From the moon's surface. It's bright. That's why you can see the moon from earth. The same way you can see a person's face even if the sun is behind him.

Scream 2 (1997)

Correction: Empire Strikes Back was part of a planned trilogy (as Randy said, "Totally planned"). The Godfather series was not planned as a trilogy. They decided years later to make a third one.

Grease (1978)

Corrected entry: I would love to know how in the short time they were all singing "We go together", Putzie and Doody managed to get on and off a ride.

Gavin Jackson

Correction: It's not a realistic sequence. They're all singing and dancing and lots of things are going on. To underscore that it's not realistic, the car that Sandy and Danny are in FLIES at the end. Suspend your disbelief for a second and have some fun.

Season 4 generally

Corrected entry: It is not clear what time during the year this particular day takes places. It is a weekday, which we know the office in which Jack secures the override device from Habib is filled with workers. However, neither Behrooz nor Debbie go to school. It cannot be summertime because the sun sets before 7PM which is not realistic. At the same time, there is a school bus in the scene where Jack is following the terrorist Khalil toward the location where Heller and Audrey are being held hostage. If its during spring or winter break the bus would not be there.

Correction: Private schools and public schools can have spring break on different dates. And school buses can be used for organized trips, not necessarily on days when school is in session. There is not enough in this submission to justify that a mistake was made.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Corrected entry: When Cole comes home from school before they play "the game", when he opens the door you can see that it is night outside, but when the shot faces Malcolm, you can see the daylight coming in from outside the window, behind him.

Correction: The door behind Cole doesn't lead directly to the outdoors. It leads to a dark hallway.

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: Marty says to Doc after the famous courthouse crash, "Look at the newspaper, it's changing." Actually, it starts changing several seconds after Doc looks at it.

Correction: Marty says "Doc, the newspaper's changed." He's referring to the one in his hand, which has already changed. He does not tell Doc to look at the newspaper in the DeLorean. Doc's paper takes longer to change because not all changes happen at the same time.

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: In the scene after they have been in the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid, Hermione says "Who is the one wizard Voldemort always feared?" She calls 'you-know-who' by name. This was mentioned repeatedly in the movies that they do not say his name.

Correction: It says they DO not say his name. It does not say they CANNOT say his name. Hermione chose to say it. There's no law or rule that says she cannot say it. (It contradicts the book, but not the movie).

K.C. Sierra

Corrected entry: When Professor Snape caught Harry missing the curfew, Professor Lupin came to intervene and save Harry from being punished. Lupin also took a parchment, the Marauder's Map, before Snape could confiscate it and asked Harry to come to his office. In his office Lupin mentioned to Harry that the map was a weapon for Sirius Black but he never asked Harry what is hidden inside the parchment nor did Harry ever mention a word about the map. Obviously Lupin should have had no knowledge about the Marauder's Map if he have never even heard anything about it. (01:17:40)

pboy2k5

Correction: Lupin was one of the people who MADE the Marauder's Map (he was the "Mooney" in "Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs).

K.C. Sierra

Already knowing what it is would be really suspicious. I mean, if he didn't want anyone to know he made the map or even what it is, he would probably want to pretend and say something along the lines of "what is this".
