Trivia: Once again, another reference to "The Incredibles": before Remmy & Linguini go into the kitchen for the first time, Linguini pulls his pants open, and we can see his boxers. His boxers, have the Incredibles logo on them.

Trivia: When Skinner is driving his car and sees Remmy skittering towards Linguini, but he says it was just his keys, listen to the music playing on the radio. That is the same song that is playing later in the movie, after Skinner is fired.

Trivia: Peter Barton was hesitant when it came time to do his death scene, as he was previously burned by a magnesium flare doing a stunt on a previous film and required multiple surgeries afterwards. Sensing Peter's hesitation, Ted White requested that a pad be placed behind Peter's head when he was slammed into the shower wall.

Trivia: The original poster for the film had Jason ripping through an "I Love New York" poster. They had to remove the poster from theaters and change it quickly, due to complaints from the New York Tourism Committee.

Trivia: In the original script, there was a scene where Jason's father visits the empty grave. It was shot, but removed from the final version of the movie.

Trivia: Originally, the film was supposed to pick up where the ending of the previous film left off. Tommy Jarvis is taken to the same hospital as Jason's body. While trying to get to the morgue, he murders seven people on the staff. When he arrives, he finds Jason's body rising from the table. The adult Tommy then wakes up in the van, on his way to Pinehurst.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning trivia picture

Trivia: There are three different hockey masks used either in this film or its advertisements. The first is the one that the Jason impostor (Roy) wears. It has two blue triangles below the eyes. The second is the one the real Jason wears when Tommy sees him in the hospital room at the end, with the red triangles. The third is featured on the poster. For viewers who don't know, that TV program is a direct parody of "COPS", an American documentary TV series that follows on-duty police officers.
