Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: During the fight scene at Crystal Lake, Freddy stabs Jason's eyes, causing them to bleed very badly. But when Jason falls into the lake, we see him closing his eyes, and his eyes are perfect.

moviedude345

Correction: It's explained at the beginning of Jason X that he has ability to regenerate cells rapidly so it's possible he has fast healing for his eyes as well.

Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: When Jason throws his flaming machete into the fat guy's neck at the party, the way the machete is thrown is impossible. It flies straight, as though it were shot out of a gun. When Jason throws the machete, it should be spinning.

moviedude345

Correction: We don't ever see how Jason throws the machete. The only shot that we see is the fat guy running, and then the machete impaling him. Obviously rather than throwing the machete like a throwing knife, he threw it like a spear.

Coraline (2009)

Corrected entry: When Coraline first enters the other world and enters the kitchen, notice on the table in the kitchen is a vase of yellow flowers, in the middle. When the mom says "Bu-bu-bu- buttons?" the vase is on the far left side of the table.

moviedude345

Correction: When Coraline enters the kitchen, the vase of Narcissi is in fact in the middle of the table and you see the back of a chair behind it. When the Other Mother says "Bu - bu-bu-buttons" (00:17:10), she is in closeup and the flowers can be seen at her left elbow, in the middle of the table and in front of the chair, where they were a second before.

Coraline (2009)

Corrected entry: When Coraline first arrives in the other world, she walks past a table with three chairs. Notice the one at the far right: it is straight. When she opens the door and says, "Mom?" the chair is now crooked.

moviedude345

Correction: When Coraline walks past the table we can see only two chairs, one in the middle and one on the right (00:16:48), as the opening door blocks the view. Then she opens another door leading to the kitchen, and while she talks to the Other Mother (00:16:55) we in fact see the third chair behind her, but you cannot tell it is crooked or not, as we couldn't see the third chair previously.

Batman Returns (1992)

Corrected entry: McDonalds planned to make Happy-Meal toys for this movie, but they pulled the plug because the movie was too violent.

moviedude345

Correction: Actually McDonald's did go through with the toy line for this movie as well as a line of promotional drinking cups, due to having already produced a fair amount of stock and spent millions on an advertising campaign before it was released. The toys can be seen at the following link http://www.hakes.com/item.asp?ItemNo=77860&ListID=86 and the commercial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1qy7jIKtfY. They actually defended their choice to NOT pull the plug on the premiums by stating the tie in was meant to refer to the Batman character itself rather than the questionable content of the movie (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m3190/is_n29_v26/ai_12477873/).

Beetlejuice (1988)

Corrected entry: When the Maitlands' car crashes, there are no side or back windows (so that the car would sink faster).

moviedude345

Correction: Or perhaps they had all the windows down on that lovely warm day?

Grumpy Scot

If their windows were open, wouldn't they have had an easier time to get out of the car and live?

Not if they were injured in the crash, or even stunned.

Brian Katcher

The front windows were, in fact, open and, generally speaking, yes, that would've helped them get out faster. But there are other factors, like if they couldn't get the seatbelts undone or possibly received a concussion when they hit the water.
