A side view shows the van is traveling straight ahead, but a shift to a front view shows the road behind the van is curved to the right. Revealing mistake: There's no doubt that Joey and his mother were not real kangaroos, but there wasn't even an attempt to make them look at least semi-real with animatronics or better CGI. Revealing mistake: When Calvin was telling Nicky what Greg told him Charles was doing to Jesse (sexually abusing), the lit cigarette that Nicky was holding in his mouth touched Calvin's teeth and ashes flew (for real!). The actors playing Calvin and Nicky knew what happened but did not immediately stop - they stayed in character. It was obvious this scene was "cut." When the camera returned to filming, Calvin was standing a few feet away from Nicky and the cigarette was gone. (00:30:35)

Revealing mistake: When Nathan and Theresa are talking on the front porch, the background is fake (and mostly blurred). The white picket fence just doesn't look real. A hanging plant on the porch sways a little from wind but the two nearby trees (leaves/branches) are stationary. Next, one tree gets a gust of wind while the other one does not and the remaining trees in the background do not show any movement. (00:13:50)

Revealing mistake: Vic jumped onto the roof of the white van while it was moving. The van driver started weaving to get Vic off the roof - but Vic could not be seen at all when there was a front view of the van. Even if Vic were lying on the roof, at least part of him should have been visible. (01:04:04)

Revealing mistake: As impressive as the CGI lions were, there are almost always giveaways. For example, when Fareeda calls Charlie over and goes to hug him, her left hand and forearm quickly disappear into his mane and go too far in to be realistic. There is also a small but noticeable gap when Charlie's right paw is curled over Fareeda's left shoulder. (00:18:45)

Revealing mistake: At Mrs. (Louise) Bundy's house, Ressler and McChesney were seated at the coffee table, maybe 3' apart. When Louise was sitting in the chair talking to them, only some hair to represent McChesney was on the left side of the screen and Ressler was not visible. It was obvious Louise was delivering her lines without the two sitting there because her head and eyes were turned way too far to the left and right (beyond where their bodies would have been) to be making eye contact with them. Revealing mistake: DEA Agent Rick Bowden was already seated "in the best position" before knowing where Ross would sit in the SF library. Chris Tarbell already had a surveillance camera behind the seat Ross chose, giving him a clear view of Ross, also before knowing where Ross was going to sit. Even if there were cameras in other positions, the DEA Agent and Chris Tarbell being at the right spots in advance was too coincidental to be by chance alone. (00:02:09 - 00:02:30)

Revealing mistake: At first glance, the cow at the start may have looked real, but its limited mouth movement while eating grass (without any grass being pulled out) indicates it was a mechanical cow. The cow also did not move its rear end or raise its head when Fenn and Geary approached and stood right behind it. A real cow would not stay in the exact same position (motionless) that amount of time. The cow's "fur" also did not look real. (00:02:50 - 00:03:24)

Revealing mistake: The location of George's burn barrel (with flames shooting out) was altered to accommodate filming. At times, there could not have been enough space between George and Fr Daniel for the burn barrel to even be between them (and without catching their clothes on fire). (00:17:45 - 00:18:42)

Revealing mistake: The possessed "Helen" that Fr Daniel threw to the ground by grabbing the back of her hair landed like a stuffed doll, not person. The "body" was mostly padding and the fake "Helen" kind of bounced or teetered after hitting the ground. Also, her arms stayed hidden in front of her whereas a real person would be stretching out or moving arms to try to land as safely as possible. (00:21:35)

Revealing mistake: Sledding down the hill, the "kid" noticed the upcoming cliff, but an aerial view of the "kid" lying in the snow after he rolled off his sled did not show a distinct cliff/ledge, just a snow embankment (piled - or plowed! - against trees/brush). (00:02:48)

Revealing mistake: The "kid" drug runner/courier who was fleeing Canadian Police/Border Patrol (riding snowmobiles and accompanied by dogs and a helicopter) was quite close to the cliff when he started rolling off his sled, but he was further back when the camera shifted to a rear shot showing him rolling to a stop. The kid's distance from the edge was inconsistent other times, as well, such as when he raised his hands for the police. (00:02:43)

Revealing mistake: Based on the size of the dinosaur's back shown behind the 6' high cement enclosure, there is not enough room for the rest of the dinosaur's tail and the enclosure is not high enough to accommodate its neck and head. (00:16:29)
