Shedding (2019)

Revealing mistake: There's definitely more than one cat playing "Panda", but how many can't be determined because Panda's entire body is not shown at once. "All" of them (maybe a whole litter?) have various distinctive black spots on a mostly white body. Watch for the amount of black on a cat's face and whether or not the diagonal black fur on the right side covers the entire eye or only half and if there's a black spot toward the nose. Also, look for how much black is on its side, back, behind its legs, etc.

Memory (2022)

Revealing mistake: In the scene wherein Detective Marquez and Senora Borden are drinking wine by the (indoor) pool, the back of Det. Marquez's head is disproportionately large. Front views of Det. Marquez often show his head tilted to the left, but rear views usually do not and his head might even be tilted to the right. Also, Senora Borden's eyes do not appear to be aimed correctly at Det. Marquez's (especially since they are facing each other with heads tilted to the right). Use of stand-in and/or green screen. (01:02:30 - 01:03:10)

Revealing mistake: Robert's upper body is leaning against a pillow with his adjustable bed at about a 60° angle, and stays at this angle when there are front views of him. After Paul arrives, views of Paul that include only part of Robert's stomach/torso show Robert lying at a lower angle, closer to 45°. Sometimes, the blanket representing where Robert's stomach would be is all that is included. Robert [Bruce Willis] probably was not present when front views of Paul were filmed. Escape the Field (2022)

Revealing mistake: The size of the spider walking off Sam's face becomes disproportionately smaller too fast compared to its size while on her cheek plus the spider's awkward movements are indicative of CGI. (00:02:20)

Ambulance (2022)

Revealing mistake: Nitro, a large Saint Bernard, was riding in the car with sun shining on his head from the sun (or moon) roof and was panting heavily. The absence of "slobber" - or any visible wetness on his tongue or in his mouth - gave him away as CGI. Other indicators of CGI include Nitro's limited and stiff movement and his left shoulder/upper left front leg partially covering the driver's shoulder but not interfering with his ability to drive. Eraser: Reborn (2022)

Revealing mistake: The ostrich had its head down, pecking on the floor, when Rachel opened the door. Rachel screamed, then the ostrich raised its head. Ostriches generally have acute hearing that enable them to hear approaching predators, so it is unlikely the ostrich (even a pet) would not have raised its head when Rachel was still on the other side of the door. Also, the ostrich showed no reaction to being so close to the foot+ high flames in the indoor fire pit, suggesting one or both was/were fake. (00:54:47 - 00:55:16)

Ambulance (2022)

Revealing mistake: When Danny and the others are riding in the "RLC" truck to the bank, the sky is mostly a pale blue (almost white at times), but is suddenly a darker blue between two buildings. After returning to mostly pale blue, the sky turns into a much larger area that is a darker blue, then goes back to pale blue. Suggests filming on different days and/or use of CGI to fill in the sky but failing to use a consistent or similar color. (00:18:25 - 00:18:56)

Family Camp (2022)

Revealing mistake: It was quite obvious that the beaver was fake, and not a very good one relative to the capabilities of contemporary CGI. (The first time, the beaver was presented as real; the second time, it was meant to be comical). (00:59:20 - 01:29:13)

Run the Race (2018)

Revealing mistake: The paper towel holder is in front of Mr. Truett when he joins his son at the diner table. After Zach leaves, Mr. Truett moves the tray off the table and (off-screen) probably moves the paper towel holder to his left where Zach was sitting. However, some shots show the paper towel holder too close to Dave (which would be near the middle of the table) while other shots show it at the edge of the table (in front of Zach's empty chair). Run the Race (2018)

Revealing mistake: The tapered half of the baseball bat was leaning against the coffee table at about a 60° angle, but after Dave said, "The bat?" the camera showed it sticking straight up from (perpendicular to) the floor. Dave's lower body is then shown walking past the bat (which reaches to his waist) and stopping, at which point the bat fades into his leg until it is almost invisible. The next view of the bat shows it leaning against the coffee table again, but the coffee table is closer to the couch. (00:09:08)

The Mauritanian (2021)

Revealing mistake: When the McDonald's bag could be seen setting on the desk, it was about as high as Slahi's chest. When there was an angled view of Slahi from the chest up, the McDonald's bag was as high as his neck (and, obviously, not setting directly on the table). (00:20:20 - 00:21:23)

Revealing mistake: The "snow" is obviously fake and it is largely absent on the left third of the screen and, to a lesser extent, the right side. Although it apparently recently started snowing, the snow was not melting when it hit the pavement, which would mean it was cold enough for snow to also "stick" onto metal vehicles (but did not) and the car pulling into the alley should have left tire tracks. At various spots throughout the movie, "snowfall" is spotty and irregular. (00:26:48)

Pursuit (2022)

Revealing mistake: When William and Jack open the door, enter the room, and walk past the helium-filled balloons (tied to a chair about 4' away), the balloons remain immobile. Due to how light helium balloons are, just opening the door or breathing nearby would be enough to cause the balloons to move somewhat - if they were actually there. (00:16:00)

The Lodge (2019)

Revealing mistake: Grace set and held her knees twice onto the smoldering logs on the fireplace hearth extension. There was no indication either time that her pants' knees caught fire. There were not even any sparks/ashes flying from the pressure of her knees onto the logs. (01:27:50 - 01:28:27)

Revealing mistake: After most of the people trying to hang onto other people holding onto the ascending helicopter fell off, a downward view from the helicopter showed a man effortlessly hanging onto the landing skid and a woman just as effortlessly grasping his jacket's shoulder. (00:02:50)

Jonathan (2018)

Revealing mistake: The bottom third of the left-hand side of the screen is a "filler." At the top part of the left-hand side, there's a bicycle hanging on the wall, a square wall shelf, and a 3-Light Tree Floor Lamp. About two-thirds of the way down the wall, there's an inverted image of the items at the top - the angled edge of the wall (which does not line up with the rest of the wall because it's inverted), half of a bicycle wheel, the square wall shelf, and 3-lights of the floor lamp at the bottom of the pole. The Lodge (2019)

Revealing mistake: The two sets of steps visible from the front of Richard's house (to the right of the garage) are awkwardly placed and unrealistic. Several steps are perpendicular to Richard's parked Jeep then disappear behind the trees. The second steps are parallel to the Jeep (but perpendicular to the other steps) and appear to start "in the air" near the top of the garage, are at an odd angle to the deck and would lead to the side wall of the house's exterior above the deck, not the deck or front door.
