Trivia: The two rednecks sitting on the back of the pick up truck when Cable arrives are played by Alan Tudyk and Matt Damon, whose makeup took 4 hours to apply.

Trivia: When the grandchildren and Grant are crawling above the drop-down ceiling to flee from the raptors, the raptors at one point have "squares" of light shining on them. If you look closely at this light, these "squares" of light are not really squares, but the letters A T C G, the DNA sequence abbreviations.

Trivia: A scene in the airship of the dogs playing poker is a homage to the same named series of pictures painted by C.M. Coolidge. A further detail is that instead of having an ace up his sleeve, one of the dogs has the ace hidden in his collar.

Trivia: The Pizza Planet truck can be seen waiting at a stoplight when Carl's house first begins floating over the city.

Trivia: The scene where Imhotep is resurrecting the Scorpion King, he is hitting a big gong. A bald guy, in a loin cloth, hitting a big gong...this is a nod to the opening title of any 'Rank' picture.

Continuity mistake: At the end of "Casino Royale," Bond is wearing a three-piece suit. Although "Quantum of Solace" begins just minutes later, Bond is wearing a completely different two-piece suit.

Trivia: In the Well of Souls, you can see hieroglyphics of C3PO and R2D2 on the wall.

Trivia: George Lucas' three children play cameos. Jet is a young Jedi called Zett Jukassa. Amanda plays a character called Terr Taneel, and Katie plays a blue-skinned alien called Chi Eekway, both visible when Palpatine arrives at the senate after being saved by the Jedi.

Trivia: Much of the crew make cameos in the film. For example, Nick Gillard, the stunt coordinator, plays a character named Cin Drallig, his name spelled backwards. Cin Drallig is a Jedi instructor who is killed by Anakin in the Jedi Temple massacre.

Trivia: George Lucas makes a cameo appearance during the opera scene. He is the blue faced being, named Baron Papanoida, that you see outside Palpatine's box. It marks Lucas' first and only appearance in any of the Star Wars films; also in that scene is Lucas' daughter Amanda and her boyfriend. Lucas also reportedly provides the sound of General Grievous' coughing.

Trivia: As Obi-wan and Anakin deliver Palpatine to the Jedi Council on Coruscant, look carefully at the lower right-hand part of the screen and you'll see the Millennium Falcon landing as well (confirmed by George Lucas).

Trivia: In the scene where Darth Vader and the Emperor are looking out onto the unfinished first Death Star, keep an eye out for a young Grand Moff Tarkin (played by Peter Cushing in "Star Wars").

Trivia: In the opening musical sequence when they jump out of the pool, the lady behind Austin can be seen laughing because her swim hat has fallen down.

Trivia: Steven Spielberg has a cameo as one of the doctors when Elliot and E.T. are 'hospitalized' inside the house.
