When she sits down, as Ron is about to change Scabbers yellow, her tie is straight and it remains that way while she is seated. Continuity mistake: After Sam knocks Mikaela off her moped, they are both on the ground right beside the moped when Bumblebee shows up, but in the overhead shot as Sam helps Mikaela up the moped is gone, not moved, just gone. (00:51:15)

Continuity mistake: After Sam and Mikaela arrive at the Griffith Park Observatory (the planetarium closed for renovation), when they start to hold hands the distance between the two of them changes from farther apart, to close together, to farther apart. (00:59:35)

Continuity mistake: When Ron (holding a flashlight and lantern) is looking through Sam's bathroom window, saying, "Judy, better call the city. We got a blown transformer...," there is no windowbox under that window, which was there earlier. Yet when Prime says "Ironhide, you know we don't harm humans! What is with you?" the rather large windowbox full of flowers is back up under that bathroom window. (01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: When Harry is in the potions class he is caught writing notes down, we see his neat writing in close up ... but when the camera angle changes we can see that the writing has changed in size to very large letters and quite messy writing. (00:52:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sam is being interrogated at the police station, the cop catches the drug bottle with the bottom facing up. When it cuts, the top is facing up. (00:38:20)

Continuity mistake: When Maggie arrives at Glen's house, in the shot facing him as he shouts at his grandmother, Maggie's open empty right hand is up just as it cuts to the next shot, but now her compact is in her right hand. (00:45:45)

Continuity mistake: When Prime lifts Mikaela up to Sam's bathroom window, there are two baseballs in acrylic display cases and another object (looks like a vintage camera) on the windowsill (beside the tub). Then when Sam runs to that window and sees the Autobots parked as if it were a "truckstop", all those items disappear and are replaced by two small overturned flowers pots. (01:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Dumbledore first introduces Lupin as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, the camera pans to the Gryffindor table. You can see that Ron and Hermione are sitting opposite each other with their dinner sets in front of them. Then Malfoy insults Harry, then when it cuts to Ron saying "Shove off Malfoy" Ron is now sitting opposite the girl who was beside Hermione and not Hermione herself, and the girl couldn't have just moved across because all of her dinner set is in front of her too, perfectly set out. Continuity mistake: When the Emperor says "I have waited a long time for this moment, my little green friend," Yoda can be seen lying beside his cane on the purple carpet. When they show him standing up, he and the cane are now further back toward the wall on the tan part of the carpet. (01:45:10)

Continuity mistake: In the end, when Aaron and his parents are walking at the fun fair, they are holding an ice cream. The brown Italian ice cream of the boy changes from right hand to left hand between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the Old Man who guards the wall whacks Tristan to the ground with his staff, the long shot shows him turn it upside down in a threatening gesture, but in the close-up immediately afterwards it's the right way up. (00:23:20)

Continuity mistake: When Stan Shunpike begins, "Welcome to the Knight Bus emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard...," in Harry's close-up the lamppost is directly behind Harry. However, in the shot from behind Stan when Harry says, "I fell over," the post is about 6 ft away, to Harry's left. (00:08:25)

Continuity mistake: When Harry first meets the Minister of Magic in the Leaky Cauldron, and he is being reprimanded for running away "considering the state of things," the Minister places his hands on the back of a chair. His hands change position from shot to shot. (00:13:30)

Continuity mistake: When Ana is driving home we see an above shot of her car as she approaches Vivian. When it cuts to Ana stopping right next to Vivian you can see there a far more cars in the background than it was in the previous shots. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: As Tristan approaches Lamia after killing one of her sisters, he walks past the dead Septimus whose sword is about a foot away from his head. When Lamia reaches into the pool to grab her voodoo doll, there is a shot of Septimus and the sword is now in his hand.

Continuity mistake: The pony pulling Ditchwater Sal's cart changes throughout the movie. This would be so as to not overwork any one animal. It is most noticeable in the scene when Una is driving the cart after Yvaine. When she is in the city, the pony has a white stripe all the way down its face; when it is galloping in the forest, it has two separate white spots on its face; and the pony that Tristan detaches from the cart and rides has one spot on its face. Also when Tristan detaches the pony, it only has on riding gear (a saddle and bridle), whereas earlier in the scene it only has on a harness for pulling the cart.

Revealing mistake: When the very pregnant Luda washes blood off of herself, she leans over the sink. The actress' very flat tummy is visible underneath her red top.

Continuity mistake: As the Knight Bus begins to appear, Harry falls back onto the ground, leans on his arms and in the front shot his sweatshirt is off his right shoulder, but in the next side shot, as he still leans on his arms, both sides of his jacket are properly on. (00:07:55)

Continuity mistake: When Potter comes down the stairs with his trunk, the strap on the trunk is bent backwards. When it cuts it lies normally on the trunk. (00:06:25)
