Continuity mistake: At the very end, when Ripley is closing the lid of Hicks's sleeping capsule, we see a shot of him and the bandage almost covers his left eye. In the close-up shot of the lid closing, the bandage is further up on his forehead.

Continuity mistake: After Gen. Perez pushes the stacks of money towards Elgyn, they are right on the metallic edge of the table when the general offers a drink to Elgyn. In all of the following shots, the stacks have moved and are further in on the table, not on the metal anymore.

Continuity mistake: When Sam grabs his mom's pink bike, there is nothing in the white basket at the handlebars as he flees from Bumblebee. However, at the start of the shot just before the tire hits the broken concrete, a square pink pillow suddenly appears in the basket, before flying out as Sam flips over. (00:48:10)

Continuity mistake: When Bishop is impaled by the Queen alien he spews android fluid/juice all over his chin. In a subsequent shot his chin is clean and he is spewing fluid again. The following shot his chin is once again covered. (02:23:30)

Continuity mistake: When Ripley is giving Newt the cup of hot chocolate the handle is on Newt's right. When it shows the close up shots, the handle is on Newt's left. (00:48:40)

Continuity mistake: When trying to catch Neville's Remembrall, Harry flies straight for McGonagall's window. The window visible in the wide shot has a horizontal beam that crosses the center vertical beam, yet the window visible in the close-up just has the vertical beam. The number of stones at the sides differ as well. (00:58:30)

Continuity mistake: Two-Face and the Riddler are in Two-Face's lair; the Riddler has just said, "Then I taught my doggie a new trick; how to map the human mind." In the establishing shot, the tube is in left hand; after the cut, it's in his right hand.

Continuity mistake: The first wand Ollivander gives to Harry has a long slim handle with 5 or so grooves carved at the wand end. When Harry puts the wand down, the grooves are even with the binding of the book lying there. When Ollivander hands Harry the second wand, look to the left by the book and you can see that not only has the wand been moved, it is actually a different wand with a shorter, wider handle and only one groove at the wand end. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stryker is walking through the tunnel in Alkali Lake, a drop of water drips onto his glasses thereby alerting him to the breaking of the dam. He examines the drop on his lens, but when he puts his glasses back on, the lens is dry. (01:29:05)

Continuity mistake: Near the start Logan is inside Cerebro with Xavier and Xavier turns to talk to him. The chair he's sitting in doesn't go any higher than the top of his back, yet a few shots later, the chair is now above his neck. (00:20:45 - 00:21:15)

Continuity mistake: At Bobbie B's, when Sam first opens Bumblebee's driver-side door, the gas pump's white steel guardrail is directly behind him, aligned with the driver's seat, but when all the windows shatter, Bumblebee's front fender is aligned with the guardrail, though Bumblebee has not moved. Same goes for the VW Beetle beside the Autobot. (00:14:00 - 00:15:10)

Continuity mistake: When Wolverine, Rogue, Bobby and John are in Bobby's house and are talking to his parents, his dad says to Wolverine "What are you a professor of?" Just after this the camera cuts to an overhead shot, there is a solid orange pillow at Bobby's brother's side, but in all following shots the solid orange pillow has vanished and is replaced by two striped pillows. Continuity mistake: When Wolverine handed the bottle of Dr Pepper to Bobby, he was holding the body of the bottle. But when the shot changes to show Bobby taking the bottle, Wolverine was holding the bottle neck. (00:30:00)

Continuity mistake: When Ron and Sam park in front of Bobby B's, there are three cars parked in front of the three pumps - a white vinyl top, a wagon, and a red car. When Sam says, "You said half a car, not half a piece of crap, Dad," the red car has been replaced with an old blue Plymouth, specifically for the "50-year-old virgin" joke, because the red car is back in following shots. Visible crew/equipment: Hagrid surprises Harry with the box of birthday cake and Harry opens the box. In the close-up of the cake, as Harry holds the box with his left hand and moves the blue string with his right hand, a crew member's finger is visible under the box, over Harry's left shoulder. Obviously it is someone holding the box underneath, while Harry holds it with one hand. (00:14:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where we see the X-Men and Magneto inside the jet at Alkali Lake, they are going over a map of the base, the camera cuts to Nightcrawler and Pyro, in this shot we see Pyro with his hands behind the head rest not visible, yet in the following shot his hands are now visible above his head, then the shot after back to being behind the head rest. Trivia: When Jean and Storm are in the church, and Nightcrawler is lying down, watch very closely for the back of Jean's leather coat. We catch a brief glimpse of it - a bird that looks remarkably like a Phoenix.

Continuity mistake: When Ron and Sam, followed by Bumblebee, make the U-turn in front of Bobby B's and then park, the spinning 'Bobby B. sez...let's talk deals' sign is to the left of the three vintage gas pumps, near the clown. When Bobby B. puts his arm around Sam's shoulder and says, "Sam, your first enchilada of freedom..." the spinning sign is now on the other side of the pumps, where there wasn't a spinning sign previously. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Robin steals the Batmobile, the first shot of his joy-ride shows twin fins on the rear of the batmobile on 45 degree angles, in the following shots they are all standing directly vertical. (01:02:40)

Continuity mistake: When Elgyn is going down the hallway picking up the guns, he finally comes upon a pistol. When he picks it up, there is alien slime all over it, but there is nothing else around him at all. Yet when the alien pulls him through the grating, there are gibs and assorted chunks of gore all over the place, which were not there only seconds before.
