Continuity mistake: When the recruits are going to attend to the riot, Mahoney is on the bus wearing a brown uniform, as he has just been dismissed by Lieutenant Harris. However, later on, when he is rescuing Harris from the rooftop, he is wearing the regular uniform.

Police Academy (1984)
Suggested correction: Mahoney is always wearing the blue uniform; there wouldn't be two colors of a uniform, they're designed to match.
The original commenter is correct. He is definitely wearing a brown uniform on the bus, but a blue uniform later on.
On the bus, it is blue, but on the street after they are deployed, it is brown, then blue for the rest of the movie.
There are two colours of uniforms among the cadets: black and dark blue. Mahoney is wearing a slightly faded black uniform. It looks slightly different on the bus because of the sun partially coming in through the window. When he stands in the sun, the uniform looks slightly more brown because of the direct sunlight. When he is rescuing Harris, he is in mostly shadow, so the brown highlights don't show up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_qhM2Ms5E8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37OV3qJ_epE.

Bones (2005)
The Parts in the Sum of the Whole - S5-E16
Continuity mistake: In this episode, Booth and Bones are telling Sweets about their "real first case" together - the case where they actually met for the first time. During this episode, Booth, Bones, and Angela take some evidence to Caroline, and Booth introduces them both (most importantly Brennan) to Caroline. However, in season 1, episode 19, "The Man in the Morgue", (which would have taken place after this initial first meeting) when Brennan is accused of murder in New Orleans, Booth has Caroline fly to NOLA to be Brennan's lawyer, and he introduces the two of them. If they had already been introduced during the first case Booth and Brennan worked on together, they would not have needed to be introduced here; they would have already known one another.
Suggested correction: Caroline says she doesn't want to remember Brennan's name.

Trading Places (1983)
Corrected entry: The stock exchange shouldn't be open on New Year's Day.
Correction: It was January 2, Winthorp said it at the beginning of the movie.
Correction: Adding to the original correction: At 00:21:50, Penelope mentions the party that Mumsy wants to have for them on January 2, so Winthorpe tells her he can't do it that day because January 2 is the day the crop reports come out.
Corrected entry: During the AT-AT attack scene, Luke says "Rogue 3, Wedge, I've lost my gunner". Then seconds later when he flies through the walker's legs, he calls him Rogue 2.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
Character mistake: In several scenes all over the show (though not always!), characters use the command "Raus!" to send somebody away from somewhere. Raus, short for "heraus" literally means "out" in the sense of "out of a building", which would be "aus einem Gebäude heraus" in German. Used as a command, it always means "get out", never "get away from there" or "get lost", in other words, the addressee must be inside of somewhere to be ordered "Raus." One example would be Schultz sending the prisoners away from general Burkhalter's car in S05E13.
Suggested correction: It doesn't take much research to debunk this claim. Also, John Banner, the actor that most often used the term in the show, was German-born and raised. I'm sure he would have spoken up if it were wrong.
Sorry, what is the "not much" it takes to debunk that claim? By the way John Banner was not born and raised in Germany but in what was then Hungary-Austria. I, on the other hand, AM German born and raised, so if you think you know more about my native tongue than me, by all means, educate me. As for why it wasn't corrected, my guess is this: Words like raus, schnell, was ist los, bitte or danke are rather well known even in the US, so the audience would be able to follow the dialog.
Sorry, John Banner was born in Poland. He was not German.
He was born in 1910 in the city once known as Stanislau, prior to being annexed by Poland in 1919. At the time of his birth, it was part of Austria-Hungary, and one of the official languages was German.
You're correct. I didn't read the IMDb page enough.

Mama's Family (1983)
Continuity mistake: In the first two seasons, there are 3 bedrooms upstairs: Mama's, Fran's, and Sonja's. But after Buzz and Sonja move out and Aunt Fran dies, Bubba moves in and takes Aunt Fran's room. Vinton and Naomi are still in the basement complaining that they wanted Fran's room. However, originally there was another room upstairs, Sonja's room, that disappeared.
Suggested correction: Wouldn't there have been 4 bedrooms upstairs not 3? Mama's, Frans, Sonja's as mentioned but then also Buzz had a room making it 4 bedrooms upstairs.
Buzz lived in the attic.

Me, Myself & Irene (2000)
Corrected entry: When Hank crashes into the barber shop, the car's license plate changes numbers between shots.
Correction: The car's license plate number is MC-4R8, and it doesn't change (00:21:45). Rewatch, please.
Sorry, you're correct. I thought the 4 was an L briefly.

Back to the Future Part II (1989)
Corrected entry: When Marty buys the sports almanac, how does he get the money to do it? Considering a Pepsi costs 50 bucks, the almanac probably costs several hundred dollars. How many teens from the 1980's just happened to have that amount of money in their wallet at any given moment? He didn't get the money from Doc since Doc didn't even know he bought it until after the fact.
Correction: The Store also buys money, so he pays with money from his pocket the novel states this exact thing.
