Question: At the end, Chip gets airlifted to hospital because of the fall he sustained jumping from the top of the dish. But after he's discharged, would he be arrested by the police and convicted after everything he did throughout the whole movie? eg. Stalking, harassment, stealing, breaking and entering, making a false call to the police, spying, beating up Robin's new boyfriend, etc.

Answer: Could be very likely a no. I live in Alaska where someone attacked two women, was found "incompetent to stand trial" and released, and then he stabbed a woman in the back. She's now paralyzed from the waist down and he has again been deemed incompetent. He was released to psychiatric care, but if they deem him not a danger at any point, he can be released and nobody he's attacked would be notified about it. There's a really upsetting article about it on the anchorage daily news website, actually.

Dexter (2006)
Question: Since Harry knew about Dexter's homicidal tendencies, why would he train Dexter on how to kill people who got away with their crimes instead of taking him to a psychologist?
Answer: Two reasons. First, as a cop he knows that there are lots of murderers walking around free due to flaws in the system so he uses Dexter's "urges" to right the wrongs in the system by taking out people who have no right to walk around free. Secondly, by taking him to a psychologist he runs the risk of having him committed and he doesn't want that for obvious reasons, so he figures it is best to channel his urges to what he considers a greater good.
In addition to the earlier answer, in the last season (8th) of the show, we are introduced to Dr. Vogel, whom Harry had been discussing the situation with Dexter as well, and it is shown on-camera that Harry describes what Dexter has done (killing)... So, technically he did consult a psychologist/psychiatrist, just not having Dexter and her actually meet. But Dr. Vogel was aware of whom it was and how to intercede.

Answer: Because the Gypsies were not there, they were away. He wanted Frank to sit and watch for their return and let him know they were back so he didn't need to sit and do it himself.

Answer: No one in particular. He was simply meaning that many historical figures who were extremely powerful (Julius Cesar for example) were assassinated. He means that no one is untouchable.
I disagree. I think he was referring to when he assassinated that police captain and the Turk and everyone in the room told him it was impossible.

Question: One thing I haven't ever been able to figure out is this: how does SAMCRO know exactly where Cameron is headed after he kidnapped Abel? They had no direct clues, and even after watching the series a second time, it still doesn't quite make sense to me.
Chosen answer: They knew he owned the boat at the docks as that was how he brought the guns into the country. They assumed he would head there when he was needing to flee with Abel.
Answer: They didn't know he was headed to Belfast until Maureen Ashby calls Gemma and tells her that Abel is in Belfast. Cameron is her cousin and he even brings Abel to her apartment.

Question: Would it not have been necessary for Kevin to at least wait and change the camera batteries while on the flight?
Answer: Movies are full of "if onlys" and this is one of them. Sure, it would have been better to wait but he is 9 years old and excited. He didn't want to wait so tried to do it when they were rushing to the terminal.

Question: Just how does Walt intend to explain the presence of all that meth money, even posthumously? Just how does he think his heirs will react to that, how is he going to launder it? How does he think his wife and kids will explain it? If they knowingly inherit and use such money, they could face charges of accessory after the fact. Is this ever addressed in the show?
Chosen answer: I'm not sure how far you are into the show but he does eventually come up with a way to launder it (wont spoil it for you but rest assured, when he gets a lawyer the show gets much better!) and in the final season he also comes up with a way to give his children his money without the cops or the DA knowing it came from him.

Question: The Secret Service Agents rush up the mansion stairs to the bedroom grabbing the stair banister multiple times without gloves. Why didn't the police pick up their fingerprints? And where did they get the crowbar? Is that standard issue for agents?
Answer: The female detective states the carpet is spotlessly clean, indicating they had performed an intense cleanup not shown on camera so they would no doubt cover the staircase as well and wipe it clean of prints. As for the crowbar, it is more than likely part of a "kit" in the boot (trunk) of secret service vehicles.

Question: At the beginning the driver is running trying to get back on the locomotive. Why did he not wait until the back of the engine came up, jump on, then go to the front?
Answer: Two reasons. Firstly, it was human instinct to try to get on the front. Secondly, he knows it will be nigh on impossible to get on the back then work his way forward on a train that was half a mile long.
The question asks about hopping onto the rear step of the engine. Ned probably didn't think about this when he was going for the front and by the time he fell off, the locos had passed.

Answer: For some guys yes, it is a powerful turn on. Tan lines appear when the sun hits the legs, etc. but not the bits covered by clothing, hence "tan lines" appear where the skin goes from bronze to white.

Question: At the end Jigsaw says Adam isn't ungrateful to be alive anymore, but why does he lock Adam in the bathroom and say "game over" instead of helping him?
Answer: He does help him technically. He tells him the key to the lock is in the bathtub (we saw it disappear down the plughole when Adam woke up at the beginning). In Jigsaw's sick, twisted mind he feels he is giving Adam a chance to prove he wants to live by getting the key. To prove he is grateful, he needs to find out how to get the key back. Which is technically impossible for Adam to do, leaving only one fate for him to remain.
Getting the key back has nothing to do with how grateful he is or isn't, as the key wasn't meant to go down the drain.

Question: Does John not care about everyone's safety? I mean, he didn't even ask if Ian was OK and earlier, a guy was saying how John hated inspections because it slowed everything down so, was safety nothing to him? Yeah there was the fences and stuff, but it seems that the only thing he cares about is the attraction and its visitors.
Answer: Yes he cared deeply about safety but he was just so excited and wrapped up in getting the park online and making it as visitor friendly as possible that he lost track of it a bit. Plus he felt the park was already perfectly safe, and the inspections were stopping him letting visitors in.
Answer: A real-world example is Stockton Rush and the Titan submersible. He also shunned meticulous testing and inspections and was more excited about giving people the opportunity to visit the Titanic.

Answer: Precisely because he was sleeping with a student. Getting her pregnant would bring their affair out into the open and create a scandal for the whole nation to know what he was up to. Therefore safe sex was really important to him.
True, but since he was spending time with her, he could make sure that birth control was being used (i.e. him using a condom). I think he was trying to appear "uptight" about sex, so he could be the least likely suspect.
Answer: He wanted to appear to be strict and "uptight" about sex, so people would be less likely to believe any rumors about him.
