SAZOO1975

Question: Since this is the end, I have to wonder what might happen to all the characters, mainly Will and Elizabeth. Will she wait for Will even though he is the captain of the Flying Dutchman now? Why couldn't she go with him?

Answer: There is rumour of a missing part of the storyline that if, when the captain of the Flying Dutchman returns to land after 10 years, if his lover is waiting for him, the curse is broken and he is no longer commited to captain the Flying Dutchman. Calypso was never there waiting for Davy Jones, (as stated in the movie) which is why Davy Jones remained on the Flying Dutchman all these years.

SAZOO1975

Answer: There was an after-credit scene showing Elizabeth waiting for Will, with their son, after the 10 years were up. Will then returns to the living world in the Dutchman. She couldn't go with him because she was not dead, and could not travel to the afterlife with the ship.

Question: Do the spiders grow big because of the food that they are fed, or because of the chemicals spilled in the water?

Answer: Both! The owner of the spider farm was feeding the spiders bugs from the water that had the chemical spill in it. The bugs were contaminated with the chemical, thus contaminating the spiders. Note: The man who owned the spider farm had no idea about the contaminated water.

Question: In "At World's End," Will asks Elisabeth to marry him, but doesn't Elisabeth say in "Dead Man's Chest" that, "You cost me my wedding night"? Can someone please clarify this?

Answer: At the beginning of Dead Man's Chest, Will and Elizabeth were scheduled to get married. However right before the ceremony, they both were arrested for aiding in the escape of Jack Sparrow in the 1st movie. That was why he cost Elizabeth her wedding night. Because she was arrested for helping him out.

General questions

There's this movie that I've been trying to find that I can't really provide a lot of details about, because I watched it as a kid. I think it's an early 90's movie (definitely before 1996, anyway) or possibly late 80's (89 maybe). It's kind of an action film (sort of), and has a dark-haired, handsome young guy in the lead. The only thing I can remember is that in the movie, he gets a red convertible, and that towards the end, there's a burning (fire) scene, and he has these special shoes that help him stick to the roof (so that he doesn't fall). I know that's a very bad description, but it's all I can remember. Hopefully you can help. I watched it dubbed in French.

Answer: The movie was called "If Looks Could Kill." It starred Richard Grieco who is a high school student visiting France and is mistaken for a secret agent.

Armageddon (1998)

Question: In one scene of an overhead view of the White House, we can see that the flag on the roof is at half-mast. Why was the flag lowered?

Answer: Because at the beginning of the movie, the asteroid fragments attacked New York and killed lots of civilians. When a natural disaster hits America, the President, as well as many businesses will lower the flag out of respect.

Not to mention the astronauts lost in the same meteor shower.

Saw III (2006)

Question: I'm just wondering exactly what role Jeff played in this film? It seems he was required just to stumble blindly through the rooms, deciding whether people should live or die, with no real consequence for their death or non-death. Am I missing something, or was his inclusion in the film rather redundant?

Answer: Jeff was another part of the game Jigsaw was playing. Jigsaw picked a man and wife (the wife being the nurse Jigsaw wanted to keep him alive) who were having marital problems after their son was killed. Everybody who Jeff had to decide whether lived or died played a role in his son's death. The judge who gave his son's killer a light sentence. Witnesses who lied on the stand, and the last person, his son's killer. The game was to see if Jeff had it in his heart to forgive those responsible for his son's death.

SAZOO1975

Answer: Jeff's role was integral in the plot. He was a package deal with his wife. Jigsaw tested Jeff with the 3 people behind his son's death, by letting him pick between forgiveness or vengeance. He ultimately used it as a final test when facing Jigsaw himself. Also, his wife was used as a test for Amanda, whom Jigsaw predicted would give in to her murderous motives and seal her fate by being killed by Jeff as a consequence for killing Lynn. This buildup could only have been possible if Jeff was in the game, to include Lynn as a doctor for Jigsaw and test for Amanda.

Answer: Jeff's test was all about forgiveness, to see if he either gave people a second chance, or if he was selfish and was seeking vengeance. This is why Jigsaw was part of the game as well, because he knows where Jeff's daughter, Corbett, is.

General questions

A few years ago I watched a movie about a young teen and his mother. I thought the mom was Melanie Griffith, but I can't find it on IMDB. They don't get along with her father, but I think she gets some money from him. He becomes friends with a girl about his age, and his mom tells them they can have sex if they like, but to stop if the girl gets her period. Unfortunately, she gets pregnant anyway. When his mom takes her to an abortion clinic, she sees her own mother inside, having gotten an abortion because of an affair. The girl decides to have the baby and keep it. Does anybody know the title and stars? Despite the subject matter, it was tastefully done, and may have been made for TV. The mom had a boyfriend who was very disapproving of her for allowing everything.

Answer: The movie was called "Skipped Parts". The mom was played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. The 2 kids were played by Bug Hall from the Little Rascals movie and Mischa Barton from The O.C.

Question: Are open-throated Allison and the mutilated dark-haired guy near the end chasing Chelsey supposed to have become cenobites? Because they seem to be animated after death like the cenobites but they aren't wearing the usual leather gear and apart from their mutilations they look otherwise human.

Answer: No they are not. They are just a figment of Chelsey's imagination as Lance Henrickson's character points out he put all of everything they saw in their mind, including Pinhead.

General questions

Ok. I remember a movie, sometime from the late 90's, and I just can't remember the name of it. I think the plot had something to do with a group of people runnng from a disease. The first part that I remember was this man in a Catholic church and the diseased people, who had red eyes, were running after him. He found refuge in a grocery somewhere in a destroyed city, where he found these 2 people. I think one of the people was an African American woman. They traveled around until they came to an apartment that had Christmas lights on the outside of the window. There, the origonal three people found a father and his daughter, both unaffected by the disease. They all listen to the radio and hear about an army base that is calling for all people who are not infected with the disease. As they make thier way there, an infected bird drips blood into the father's eye, and he becomes infected. The only way to get infected is to get an infected person's blood into your body, as if through a membrane such as your eye, or in a cut. Well, the others make thier way to the army base, and one of the people there asks the women to wear dresses. One man at the army base is infected, but chained up, and the army people are attempting to speak with him. That is all I remember, but does anyone know the name of this film?

Answer: The movie was "28 Days Later" and it came out in 2002.

General questions

I was watching the public access channel and they were showing random clips from horror movies, one of them, they introduced it as having "the most messed up twist ending", had a little girl with wild hair holding someone who's dead, while other people walk towards her cautiously, then it switches to a woman talking to a kid with a bandage around their head, the woman said something like "I always wanted to have a little girl, you will be so happy here. Angela. What a pretty name. Like Angel." Then the kid looks up and we can see it's a boy, then it goes back to the girl with the dead body, and (I think) the people coming towards her say "Angela? Angela?" suddenly the "girl" stands up, holding a knife, and for some reason "she's" naked and we see she's really a boy. Naturally, the other people are shocked. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy.

Answer: It is called "Sleepaway Camp."

Question: Is it ever explained where to or even why the monsters are being moved?

Answer: This is never explained.

Answer: Dracula's a crafty and resourceful guy. While we're not privy to the details, he surely made the arrangements and concocted a cover story so that he and his team of monsters could get shipped close by the amulet's location.
