Chosen answer: Because not everyone believed the rumor.
Answer: The homeless man seemed to have known Sam a bit better than others. He also took over the factory building so it's possible they were friends and he'd have more accurate info about Sam.

Question: When I first watched this, the way Joey talked and everyone reacted, I thought he had accidentally thrown Ginger's real leg into the fire, and she got an artificial one later. If Ginger had her fake leg then, why did everyone react the way they did?
Chosen answer: How in the name of heaven would he have "thrown" her real leg into the fire, short of wrenching it off her body? Joey's not a psychopath. They reacted the way they did because he threw her artificial leg, thinking it was a log, into the fire, then ran away, leaving a one-legged woman stranded in a cabin with no means of transportation. A cowardly response, and he clearly feels awful about it after the fact, but that doesn't negate it being a terrible thing to do in the first place - less so the action itself, which was a stupid mistake, but him running away afterwards.

Question: I could be wrong, but wouldn't destroying the Silver Shemrock factory disable the commercial and/or the mask chips?
Chosen answer: They don't broadcast the commercial, the cable company does. And the mask chips all have tiny pieces of the rock inside, so they will still work regardless of whether or not the factory is destroyed. So the answer is "no" and "no."

Question: During the elevator fight scene, why was Rex scared of Zurg and his ion blaster? He must have known that Zurg was just a toy, and that he couldn't really hurt Utility Belt Buzz.
Chosen answer: Rex has played so much of the Buzz Lightyear video game that his concept of what is real and what is fake is a little skewed. Having a alternate Buzz with them, that does not believe he is a toy, does not help matters.

Answer: They realised that they really had been molested by Freddy.

Question: Throughout the film, everyone says that Binx was trying to prevent the candle from being lit, so why at the end does he thank Max for lighting it, and explain to Emily that he had to wait for the candle to be lit?
Chosen answer: Binx had accepted his fate of being a cat forever so instead, he decided to stop the candle from being lit. It was only near the end of the film that he saw the death of the witches broke his curse.
Answer: Binx knew that bringing the Sandersons back to life would be dangerous, so he tried to prevent it. It was only AFTER the group killed the witches that he was thankful since his curse was lifted. He said that to Emily because he waited 300 years for the right person to light the candle and destroy the witches.
Answer: He accepted his fate until the end of the movie.

Question: Why did Jason go into the children's cabin the first and second times? And why did he just draw close to Nancy when she saw him?
Answer: Yes, I don't believe he was trying to scare her; I think he was just looking at her out of genuine curiosity.
Answer: In all his attacks he's never killed children, it's like he's never seen them before. Plus, it's almost he trying to recall memories of what he's looking at. "Where have I seen these little people before."
The children might possibly remind Jason of his own days at the camp when he was a child, before he drowned.

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)
Question: How is getting struck in the groin with a harpoon (with or without pulling the trigger) fatal?
Chosen answer: You could easily die of shock/blood loss.
Answer: It's also shown that Jason pulled the trigger. You never see exactly where the harpoon goes, so it could have gone into his torso. From the angle you see Jason spear him, though, it most likely went up and exited through his back. This could have hit vital organs and blood loss would also occur. Not to mention that the last you see of the victim he's screaming so Jason could have done more to kill him after the scene ended and the film moved on.

Question: If Jack Frost was able to change history simply by running over and putting the coat on, why couldn't Scott do the same thing, instead of holding Jack so his younger self had time to put it on?
Chosen answer: Then it would have been the older Scott that became Santa, and also would have created a paradox since the younger Scott would never have become Santa.

Answer: Because of the snow globe listen to the voice of the Santa that is playing Santa the tape recorder had frost voice on there. Just like frost used Santa to get what he wanted by making Santa say it.

Chosen answer: This isn't a mistake. John made the voodoo doll himself. When Chucky said he was "prepared" for it, he meant that he was prepared to do whatever it takes to get information from John about his being wounded. Even killing him as we see.

Chosen answer: He found the book in his house, saw the title, and just naturally assumed that they were there because the snowman needs to be in a place where it is cold.
The book was with the kids not in the house.
Well my guess is that he followed the destruction that the abominable snowman left behind. He also must have checked his books over as well and saw which one was missing because there were some books on the floor.

Question: Since kryptonite obviously doesn't come from Earth, how can Earth elements be used to create a synthetic version? Like in "Man of Steel", when Jonathan says that the Krypton key wasn't made from anything on the periodic table, so it couldn't be from Earth.
Chosen answer: Kryptonite is a compound created by irradiated fragments of Krypton rather than a pure element, Synthesizing it would then be a matter of analyzing the compound and finding Earth elements with similar properties. (Some, as you say, would be beyond the knowledge of human science, which is why Gus looked at his cigarette pack and decided to use tar in the place of the unknown elements).

Question: Why did Louis kill Church at the end? He only planned on killing Gage if he came back like Timmy Baterman did, and he could have just walked in after distracting Church with the meat.

Question: It is said that in the original script, Julie the babysitter was meant to be Freddy's pawn, and even though they removed that part, there are still elements in the film that point fingers at her. What are some of these elements?
Chosen answer: Mostly just very subtle hints. In the beginning when she arrives right around the same time that Heather gets a call from the psycho-stalker, suggesting a possible connection. And the fact she's alone with Dylan many times during the film, as she could be subtly manipulating him to act out.

Question: Fagin and the gang want Oliver back out of fear that he might tell about them. But there are some things I don't understand. 1. How long Oliver had been with Brownlow is unknown (Bill says it had been three days since he saw him during the "Who Will Buy" song), but since no police had arrived at the hideout during that time, surely they'd think Oliver hadn't said anything by now. 2. And even if they did think the above, why would they still think Oliver might say something later on? (01:34:50 - 01:37:00)
Chosen answer: They're probably concerned because he's a child. He might unintentionally say something without meaning to, or after some time has passed and more is learned about Oliver's past life at Fagin's hideout, it's conceivable he might be questioned more intensely. A child would likely give more information under pressure.

Answer: Because Davis and Sweet demonstrated keen interest, skill and knowledge of firearms (particularly of Harry's .44 Magnum) when they first met. They were flattering Harry, probably in anticipation of inviting him to join their death squad. Harry was impressed and asked for them specifically, even though they were rookies, but he didn't suspect them of being the vigilante killers at that point.

Yes, he did suspect them. In fact, he suspected Davis from the moment he found out that Davis was the one who reported Charlie McCoy's death. He confirmed his suspicion about Davis after he compared similarities between bullet that killed one of the victims and the one he purposely misfired from Davis' revolver during shooting competition and retrieved it afterwards. He explained it all to Early Smith right after raid on Palancio (and thus unwittingly sealed his partner's fate).
