Suggested correction: It was probably left behind during one of the bug outs that happen. We have seen at least 2 in the series.

Fade Out, Fade In - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: Charles and the G.I. lay waiting for an explosion. When the last mortar hits, the explosion is just to the left of the back tire, the jeep is untouched. After a cut, the jeep is trashed and burning.

Private Finance - S8-E8

Trivia: In this episode, Mulcahy has trouble playing a piece on the piano. In other episodes, he played much better. In truth, William Christopher was an accomplished pianist that played "mean ragtime."

C*A*V*E - S7-E20

Other mistake: After pulling out of the camp to head for the cave, The Bus is shown from several angles. Even though it's loaded, the shots of it travelling are re-used shots from an earlier episode, and the place it stops is a re-used shot from the episode "Rainbow Bridge"

The Army-Navy Game - S1-E20

Other mistake: Hawkeye loosened the nut and locking ring, but after lifting the assembly, it was obvious that these were steps used only to heighten tension. There was no locking device of any kind between the tail and body of the bomb.

The Army-Navy Game - S1-E20

Trivia: Three bits of trivia. (1) The game was total fiction, with a final score of Navy 42, Army 36. No Army-Navy game has ended with that score. (2) The radio announcer says it is the 53rd Army-Navy game. The 53rd game was played in 1952, with Navy winning 7-0. (3) Though not named in the credits, host Tom Kennedy was the voice of the radio commentator, a fact he confirmed in an interview in 2003.

Dear Dad - S1-E12

Trivia: Interestingly, Klinger is seen in full standard uniform. Otherwise, for the next several seasons until he takes over as clerk, he almost strictly wears dresses. In real life, Jamie Farr phased out the dresses so his kids wouldn't be teased in school.
