The Joker Is Wild - S11-E4

Continuity mistake: When BJ is letting Hawkeye in on the fact the he was the only real victim of the gag, he's putting a forkful of eggs in his mouth. After the camera cuts to Margaret and back, he doing it again. His mouth was empty both times.

Continuity mistake: When filming Hawkeye, BJ and Charles in the swamp before they go to Potter's tent, the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the inside. When it pulls back you can see the end of the tent, but without the netting normally there.

Other mistake: When Trapper and Hawkeye make the right turn after Trapper tries to use the restroom, you see that Trapper avoids the left side of the road just after the turn. This is to avoid the explosive charge set in the ground used to simulate a mortar round exploding.

Continuity mistake: When Margaret asks Frank for cash to help her sister get an apartment, he asks about her father leaving her anything, implying that her father is dead. Later on, we see her father when he comes to visit her in another episode.

Continuity mistake: Usually when you see Pierce, his hair is parted on the left side. When he is nibbling on the nurse's neck in the Swamp, his hair is parted on the right. Then the next time he's seen, it's parted on the left again.

Continuity mistake: After Klinger's file cabinet gets bombed, BJ appears in the window. He's facing directly ahead, head slightly tilted to the right. When the camera goes to a close up, he's in quarter profile, left cheek forward. In the long shot, he's back to the original position.

Continuity mistake: In the mess tent, Hawkeye is attempting to get the reporter to focus on BJ instead of him by telling the guy about the defibrillator made by BJ to save a life in the O.R. As Hawkeye is making his point, the reporter is putting a sheet of paper into a folder on his typewriter case. After the camera cuts to a close up of the reporter saying his next line, he's putting the paper into the folder again.

Audio problem: In the Post-Op ward, Jimmy is playing poker with the two jerks in his platoon. After the cards are dealt, he sees that their deck has pictures of nude women. He looks up at them when seeing this, and you hear him say "Very funny!", but his lips don't move.

Continuity mistake: When Mulcahy is describing a person who was "quite a Bozo" to Potter, Potter realizes who he is referring to. Mulcahy's arm is close to the table. When the camera cuts to Mulcahy's face, his mug is close to his face.

Continuity mistake: When Potter is chewing out Klinger about the morning reports, the camera is looking at Potter. As he finishes his line with "once in a while", he puts his right arm down. When the camera cuts to look at Klinger from behind Potter, his (Potter's) arm is up and finger pointing at Klinger.

Continuity mistake: When Potter is on the phone, he turns to hush Hawkeye and BJ. As he does so, he's holding the receiver with his left hand, and covering the mouthpiece with his right. He then puts his left hand down on the arm of the chair. When the camera cuts in for a close up, his left hand is on the phone again.

Continuity mistake: Margaret comes in to the Officer's Club, and tells Klinger that the drinks are on her. He puts down two glasses, and starts to pour. When the camera cuts to a close up, he's just starting to pour into the same glass again.

Other mistake: Radar is at his desk stamping in files. As he talks to Hawkeye, he stamps one file, checks another, and when he goes to stamp the next one, he inks the imprint side, turns it over to the label side, stamps it on the file and puts it down.

Continuity mistake: When the boys are working on the vascular clamp, Charles brings out three hard boiled eggs. After he heckles BJ and Hawkeye for a minute, BJ takes the hammer, and smashes Charles' eggs. The camera cuts to the boys, and back to Charles. There are now two eggs, and almost intact.
