Trivia: Two years after the second series, ITV decided to repeat both series on Tuesday on Thursday at 7:30pm (against popular BBC soap EastEnders). This wasn't popular as the episodes had to be cut to remove material unsuitable for early evening (the original episodes were shown on Fridays at 9:00pm) and so each episode was split into two 30-minute segments. Removing key scenes wasn't popular as it made the plots muddled, and some regions opted out mid-run.

The Professionals (1977)

Trivia: In early episodes, the cars used were provided by British Leyland. Unfortunately, the cars were unreliable and BL took them back after each day's filming (leading to continuity problems). The producers then did a deal with Ford, who allowed them to keep the cars for as long as they needed.

The Pentaverate (2022)

Trivia: The logo used for PTV (the Pentaverate's TV network) is the same double eye used by Associated Television (ATV) - a UK broadcaster that served Central England from the 1950s until the early 1980s.

The Goldbergs (2013)

Trivia: Why do the Dukes (and Daisy) always climb through the windows to get into the General Lee? The reason is they can't open the doors - as it was a race car, the doors are welded shut.

The Goldbergs (2013)

Trivia: The series is a biopic of Adam F. Goldberg's own childhood (Beverly, Murray and Barry are real), but he didn't have a sister in real life. Erica was actually Eric - another brother.

My Name Is Earl (2005)

Trivia: Most of Catalina's speeches in Spanish (the ones that are not translated) are actually actress Nadine Velasquez speaking to the camera, addressing the viewers. For example, in episode 1-11 (Barn Burner), although it appears that she is throwing insults at Joy, she is actually saying "I want to take this moment to thank our Latino audience for watching. And for those of you who can understand me but who are not Latino, I want to commend you for learning a second language".

Trivia: In the final episode of series 6, you can see the brand name on the crisp packet that kills Kelly. It is Nickson's - named after Susan Nickson, who created the series.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Backwards - S3-E1

Trivia: The Star Wars-style (if you can slow it down) scrolly mentions what happened in between series 2 and 3. In short, it mentions what happened to Kryten (he crashed Lister's space bike on a planet and the crew managed to rescue him again), and the twins (Jim and Bexley - they were sent to the Parallel Universe as they were growing far too quickly).

Anne - S3-E1

Trivia: I take it Joss Whedon hadn't heard of the chain of sex shops (and the company responsible for lingerie parties) called Ann Summers in the UK when he gave Buffy her middle name (Anne)?
