Continuity mistake: Both the X-ray image and Mulder's statement suggest that the letter opener has penetrated Dr. Sanjay's head at an acute angle. However, during the autopsy, Scully removes the object as if it had been shoved horizontally. The latter position is confirmed by the suicide scene itself at the start of the episode. Continuity mistake: Soon after Dr. Sanjay falls, the blood flows down his cheek. However, when Mulder examines the scene, Dr. Sanjay's cheek is clean and the blood spot is on his forehead. (00:03:37 - 00:04:10)
