Continuity mistake: After Ganon hears Spryte scream, he tells Zelda to not go away. In the side view shot, it shows her hands chained behind the column and her arms are close to the sides of the column at 90°, showing it’s a bit of a long chain for hand cuffs. It shows a close up of Zelda’s face as she smarts off to him, then a view directly of her hands behind the column, which shows them much closer together with a short chain. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: Ganon hears Spryte scream after Frog Link eats a fly. He turns and has his head facing the same direction as his body as he talks. It cuts to a close up and suddenly his head is turned towards his shoulder. Also at the end of the first shot, his mouth is fully closed, but when the close up happens, his mouth is wide open. Continuity mistake: Link and Spryte hear Ganon laugh as he hangs from under a bridge. When the shot cuts closer, his arms change position, from being bent to almost fully straightened out. (00:11:35)

Continuity mistake: After Zelda is first shown captured, Frog Link is crawling upside down on a bridge in Ganon’s lair. In the far shot, his hand is right on the edge of it. But when it cuts to a closer shot, his hand is nowhere near the edge and he is more towards the center. In the same set of shots, the stone division in the bridge increases. (00:11:30)

Continuity mistake: After Marie wakes up to her parents at her bed and they think her story was a dream, she pulls out the crowns worn by the Seven Headed Mouse King, and her hand is cupped with thumb in. The angle changes and suddenly her thumb is outstretched to the side.

Continuity mistake: When Martin hands in his preregistration sheet, the woman he hands it too asks him what PRC stands for. Between shots, her hands are holding the paper at the bottom, then at the top. (00:04:35)

Continuity mistake: In the shot before Josh hands in his preregistration sheet, he is not wearing his cross necklace around his neck. It was in shots prior to that, and is the focal point of the scene with the preregistration sheet. But in the shot where he is just walking, his clothes and all are the same, but no necklace. Continuity mistake: In the Swan boat, Marie looks out at the waves and sees her reflection as a princess. The waves are spread out enough that she can see them by looking sideways. But when it cuts to a long shot, the waves are suddenly close to the boat, where she can’t see them, and she is looking straight back towards the back, her in the front.

Continuity mistake: Pavlova is shown as a gray cat. But when Clara grabs her from under the table and picks her up, the cat’s fur is now an olive green color. (00:09:10)

Continuity mistake: Pavlova runs up to where the guests are walking in the door to the party room and the high shot shows the lines between the rooms on the floor. But then it cuts to a close up from lower and the floor does not have the lines any more. (00:08:25)

Continuity mistake: When the guests arrive at the party, Pavlova is sitting in the middle of the floor, not close any furniture. The shot cuts to Fritz for about a second or a second and a half and shows him fire off a toy cannon ball. The camera immediately goes back to Pavlova with the cannon ball rolling past her, but she is suddenly behind a table leg next to a chair. (00:08:10)

Continuity mistake: Pavlova runs down stairs and a door is shut before she can get through, so she scratches at the door. There are some black lines on the floor that appear to separate a carpet or some sort of different type of wood. They are very big and thick. Three of them go under the door the kitty is at. The center one shows to be just to the left of the line separating the two halves of the door, and the line on the right is a good half foot or so away from the edge of the door. Then it cuts to a closer angle and now the center line is to the right of the door divider line, and the right most line is under the edge of the door. (00:05:45)

Continuity mistake: After Fritz and Clara arrive home in the beginning, the camera pans up to reveal the family cat, Pavlova, staring out the window. She is three panes over on the window, but is looking out the left side pane. When it cuts to a view from inside the room, her head is suddenly looking out the right side of the window pane. Continuity mistake: When Marie and Nutcracker first arrive in Christmas Wood, they are standing on a frozen creek next to a tree. The tree is not on a hill. But a couple shots later when they start moving, they are suddenly walking, not on the frozen creek, but on a hill that has appeared under the tree.

Continuity mistake: Marie’s mother brings her breakfast in bed the morning after Drosselmeier tells her the story of the Nutcracker. In most shots, the Nutcracker is standing with his mouth open. But after her mother leaves and she leans in close to talk to the nutcracker, his mouth is shut.

Continuity mistake: When the Princess comes in and is confronting the king and queen, she is standing on the red carpet. Drosselmeier is to her right on the floor, and Drosselmeier’s nephew is on her left on the floor. But when The Court Astrologer gives him the crackatook nut, Drosselmeier is suddenly on the same side of the carpet as him standing right behind him.

Continuity mistake: The camera pans across showing the 6 nurses with the princess, all sleeping. When the camera cuts to a different angle as the Mouse Queen is coming out, suddenly all the nurses are closer together.

Continuity mistake: When Madam Mouserink confronts the King and Queen about the loss of her family, the King is standing on the left and the Queen on the right. When it cuts to a close up of Mouserink when she runs up to them, the King is suddenly on the right.

Continuity mistake: In the mouse trap montage in the castle, one shows a mouse tiptoeing out of a hole next to a cat. It cuts to a close up and suddenly the cat is much closer to the hole.
