We Got the Beat - S8-E18

Audio problem: In the contest, there is a little boy playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" on a trumpet. While this is going on, Michelle and her friends are shown backstage getting ready to go on next (you can still see the boy playing in the background). In this shot, the boy's finger movements on the trumpet do not match with the music we hear.

Grease (1978)

Other mistake: In the opening animated sequence, it shows Rizzo taking off a top and her neck stretching. She looks in the mirror. As she is facing the mirror you can see that even with the elongated neck you still should be able to see her face in the mirror, but the elongated reflection just shows the neck looking much longer than it really should. Also, as the animation goes on you see Riz turning sideways but the reflection in the mirror does not match. She is sideways while her boobs in the reflection are facing the other direction. Then when she puts the black blouse on her back is to the mirror but we see her front in the mirror.

Bugsy Malone (1976)

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the gang are listening to the radio about the splurging of Roxy Robinson. Fat Sam, in his anger, shoots the white ball off the pool table. In the very next shot of him (when he says, "So tell me."), the white ball is back on the table as if he hadn't touched it.

Bugsy Malone (1976)

Continuity mistake: When Blousey and Bugsy are eating ice cream, note in Blousey's close-ups (from the front), her left hand is on the straws, near her face. In the shots of Bugsy when it shows Blousey from behind, her left hand is resting at the bottom of the glass. This also occurs with her right hand repeatedly.

Big Fat Liar (2002)

Continuity mistake: At the premiere of Marty's failed movie, he is asking the president if he can explain his "breakthrough" on Big Fat Liar. The president raises his hand, and says "One chance, Wolf, that's all I'm giving you." It remains raised until two shots later (on Marty's line "strap on your seatbelt because you are about to be blown away,"), when it is suddenly resting at his side.

Mary Poppins (1964)

Revealing mistake: There is a certain point in the song "Step In Time" (I believe it is when we see a couple of men switching their feet on the top of a chimney) where against the sky you can see where a wall and ceiling meet. This is because the scene was shot indoors.

Movie_Freak 1

Continuity mistake: In the scene right before "Edelweiss", the Captain is asked by the children and Maria to play something on the guitar. The Captain is holding a glass in his right hand and then proceeds to raise his left hand in a negative gesture. The shot changes, and the glass is now in his left hand- with his right hand raised to gesture.

Movie_Freak 1

Continuity mistake: When the Captain is asked to allow the children to sing in the festival by Max, he protests. He crosses to a table and says "Max." and picks up a glass. The shot changes, he says "My children do not sing in public", and there is now a bottle in his hand.

Mary Poppins (1964)

Revealing mistake: When Mary Poppins has the robin on her finger, just after the outside shot where the robin does his whistle bit, you can see the cables used to operate the bird on the back of her hand while she turns away from the window.

Mary Poppins (1964)

Revealing mistake: After Michael and Jane have been sucked into the chimney and then pop out, Mary Poppins pops out a short time afterward. When she does so, a dark, obvious cable can be seen supporting her.

Movie_Freak 1

Continuity mistake: In the scene right before the song "Sixteen Going On Seventeen", sung by Liesl and Maria, Liesl looks down and says a line ending with "...and he stops loving you." and then looks up. The shot from behind shows her looking up again. (02:25:45)

Grease (1978)

Continuity mistake: At the dance, when Frenchy insults Cha-Cha by saying, "With the worst reputation", Cha-Cha is shown (in the close-up) first looking at Kenickie, then turning her head around to give Frenchy a dirty look. In the next shot when Danny and Sandy are leaving the group, Cha-Cha is suddenly back at looking at Kenickie, then proceeds to give Frenchy the same dirty look again.

Grease (1978)

Continuity mistake: In the song "There Are Worse Things I Could Do," between the lines "Out of spite or jealousy" and "I don't steal and I don't lie", Rizzo's hand jumps from the side of her book to the top of her book, near her face.

Grease (1978)

Continuity mistake: After Danny has danced around the car with the saran wrap he is shown spinning around numerous times, and then stops with his back to the camera. However, in the very next shot, his arms are suddenly up in a pose far too quickly for him to have done in the time alloted.

Cinderella (1950)

Deliberate mistake: In the famous sequence where the pumpkin turns into a carriage, the fairy godmother stands behind it waving her wand and doing the magic. First mistake: After the transformation, the fairy godmother is stuck in freeze frame with her hands up in the air for the entire time when Cinderella is saying how lovely the carriage is. Another mistake occurs when it cuts to the fairy godmother (after the freeze frame), because her arms are suddenly down and she is moving and talking to Cinderella.

Cinderella (1950)

Trivia: Many of the people who contributed to this movie (including Walt and Roy Disney) say that if this movie hadn't been as successful as it was, it's likely that Disney Studios would have gone bankrupt at the time.

Cinderella (1950)

Audio problem: After Cinderella has run away from the Prince and everything goes back to normal, she discovers that the Fairy Godmother has left her with a single glass shoe. She then proceeds to thank the Fairy Godmother.she says "Thank you so much.for everything." When she says "for", her mouth doesn't move correctly.her mouth is supposed to close in order to say the beginning "f" part, but it remains open, so it looks like she's actually saying "hor" instead of "for".
