Suggested correction: Although it's hard to make out, her mouth is moving when she says that. Also, she says "23 hours until you die!" not 24.

Cinderella (1997)

Dumbo (1941)

Continuity mistake: At the end of "When I See an Elephant Fly," the crows laugh and tumble to the ground. In the two shots of them laughing on the ground, you can see a crow dressed in red and pink with a cigar in his mouth on the left side of the screen. This crow plus the four other crows in the shot PLUS the leader of the crows equals six crows. Throughout the rest of the sequence, there are only five crows, and the extra crow is never seen again.

Continuity mistake: During "Whistle While You Work," while the birds are arranging flowers in a pot, an extra flower suddenly appears out of nowhere.

Dumbo (1941)

Revealing mistake: When the stork is walking on top of the train looking for Mrs. Jumbo, there are clouds moving in the background. After the bear or whatever roars at the stork, a cloud moves to the right of the picture and finally goes off screen- except for the very tip of it. The tip of the cloud stays on screen, even though the clouds before it were moving at an even pace.

Dumbo (1941)

Deliberate mistake: While the mouse is walking on Dumbo's trunk, there is a jump in the animation. He's facing Dumbo at one point, then all of the sudden he is in a different position and is facing the other way (this all occurring in the same shot). Look for it before the mouse says, "Dumbo, the great!"

Deliberate mistake: When the police come into Max's office near the end, they force Franz Liebkind to drop his gun. Immediately after doing so, Franz cringes in pain, implying that the gun was dropped on his foot. However, the gun was dropped about 2 feet from where his foot would have been. It would have been literally impossible for the gun to have hit his foot.

Mary Poppins (1964)

Question: I read in the trivia section that something falls out of a tree while the letters "Gone with the Wind" go across the screen. I watched the movie and it's true, but does anyone have any information about it? (Was there any controversy? What was the object? Did they try to edit it out? etc.).

Movie_Freak 1

Chosen answer: It looks to me like a bird flying from the tree to the ground. Nothing controversial there and no reason to edit it out.

Trivia: In this movie, Matthew Broderick says to Nathan Lane "Oh how I hate you!" and he replies "Double! Double!". In the movie Mouse Hunt, Lars says to Ernie "I hate you!" and Ernie (played by Nathan Lane) gives the same response. Both characters even say it in the same style.

Trivia: Mel Brooks "composed" the music for the Broadway show (which would go on to become this movie) by humming tunes into a tape recorder. Someone who was musically literate would then write it down on staff paper.
