Corrected entry: In the scene where Josh Brolin has just landed on shore and pulls his pistol to shoot the pit bull, he racks the slide on his pistol and ejects an unfired round.

Correction: If you did that, and there was a round in the chamber, that is what would happen.

I Am Legend (2007)

Corrected entry: In a scene in Robert Nevell's house he is washing his dog in the bath tub using running tap water. Where is this fresh water coming from over 3 years after the last water treatment facility was abandoned?

Correction: He could have a water purification tank set up somewhere, we never see the source of the water, so we can make that assumption.

Lord of War (2005)

Corrected entry: In the opening and closing scenes, Nicholas Cage delivers a soliloquy whilst standing in what appears to be the aftermath of a battle. He is in front of some burning wreckage, power lines and a wall, standing on an almost unbroken carpet of expended cartridge cases. A quick calculation shows that there are at least hundreds of thousands and probably somewhere on the order of half a million cartridge cases in this scene, yet there is no visible bullet damage to the objects in the area, and the wall shows no bullet holes at all. Either the battle was supposed to have been fought by the most accurate marksmen in all history, or the cartridge cases where just dumped in the street by the truckload to create a particular visual impact for Cage's speech.

Correction: That last scene was done for effect, it was not meant to show the literal aftermath of a battle.

I Am Legend (2007)

Corrected entry: In a city where millions were trapped, infected and even consumed by zombies, there isn't so much as a pinky toe bone, shredded clothing or any other evidence of inhabitants. There should have been body remnants everywhere.

Correction: The zombies live in what could be called dens, so they would have taken their food into the dens. Also, in most places affected by plagues, people tend to hold up in their homes, or places of worship, they usually do not die on the street. It's also been 3 years with wild animals scavenging the area.

Black Christmas (2006)

Corrected entry: With all the high winds and snowy conditions, there is about a 1 in 1000 chance that when Dana drops the cigarette, it would go perfectly into the small hole.

Correction: Improbably, but not impossible, so it's not a mistake.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

The Song Remains the Same (2) - S6-E2

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the episode, the camera pans across the floor of Joey's dorm room to her bed - showing the trail of clothing that apparently came off before she and Dawson were intimate. There is a clear close-up shown of her bra, implying that Joey was wearing street clothes at the time and took them off rapidly to sleep with Dawson. But in the previous episode; Joey had been in pajamas ready for bed when Dawson woke up and gave her the birthday gift, which led to the intimacy. Joey wasn't wearing a bra at that time, just pajamas. And she wouldn't likely have just dumped her street clothes on the floor in a trail leading to her bed before changing into PJs.

Correction: It might not be likely that she took off her clothes that way, but we can not say for sure, so it is not a mistake.

The Covenant (2006)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the gang runs from the cops, Reid fixes Sarah's car with his powers. Later, Pogue is at the bike shop getting his bike fixed when he could have used his powers to fix his bike.

Correction: They are not really suppose to use their powers, because of the damage it does to them. So they would use it while running from the cops, but in a situation where they are not in danger, they would not use them.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Separation Anxiety - S4-E21

Corrected entry: Pacey and Joey are talking out on the dock, after they spent the night together. Towards the end of this scene, there is a close-up as Joey takes Pacey's hand and says, "Me too". At this moment you can see the name and location of the boat next to them, painted on the rear of the boat. Although the picture is a bit fuzzy, you can see that it says "Wilmington" under the boat's name, meaning the actual town in NC they are filming in, versus the fictional Capeside, Mass.

Correction: A boat does not have to stay where it is registered.

Corrected entry: Towards the beginning, when the peach starts to roll down the hill, the aunts get in the car to chase it. We see that aunt Spiker, who is starting the car in the driver's seat, is on the right side of the car. If this part of the movie takes place in England, why is the driver's seat on the right side of the car?

Correction: First off, the driver's seat, is on the right side of the car in England, unless you are talking about the right side, from the perspective of someone looking into the car, from the front. Even if that is the case, it is not illegal to have a car with a left hand drive in England, just as it is not illegal to have one with a right hand drive in the rest of Europe, or the US. As long as you drive the car on the correct side of the road.

CSI: NY (2004)

Boo - S4-E6

Corrected entry: The New York City Police Department would not investigate a murder in Amityville. It would either be investigated by Suffolk County Police, or a state police department.

Correction: They made a point of saying that all of the normal investigators where working at a plane crash site, that is why they asked them to work on the case.

Halloween 4 (1988)

Corrected entry: At the very beginning of Halloween 4 when Michael is on the stretcher, several times we see his arm and hand and it appears completely normal. This seems near impossible (even after 10 years, of which no time and/or any surgeries could ever repair) given that Michael was not only burned but completely incinerated in fire at the end of Halloween 2.

Correction: Michael Myers has been shown to have super natural type powers during this entire series.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Four Scary Stories - S5-E9

Corrected entry: During Jen's 'Scary Story' at the radio station, they show her playing an old fashioned vinyl record as her last song for the night. This is especially apparent when it starts skipping, and she finally runs back in to remove the needle from the vinyl. But this is the 21st century, and it would be likely that a trendy, major college radio station would not still be using vinyl records. They would be more likely be using newer technology and CDs.

Correction: They probably are using newer technology, but could still have a turn table in case someone wanted to play a record. There are purists out there that think records will always be the best medium for music, and a college radio station is usually the perfect place for those kind of people.

Corrected entry: After Wile E Coyote fires the missile and it comes back and strikes him, the shot changes to the gang out in the open desert. Then there is the live-action explosion from the missile in the distance. The explosion was from an animated missile and should not have resulted in a live-action explosion.

Correction: Since when is switching between live action and animation a mistake?

Disturbia (2007)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Mr. Turner enters Ashley's car, he takes the keys out of the ignition and uses the remote to lock the car (you hear the car alarm set). However, without unlocking the car, he puts the keys back in the ignition and starts it. This would trigger the immobiliser/car alarm.

Correction: Actually, putting the keys in the ignition and starting the car usually overrides most factory installed alarms, in all the cars I have owned it is actually the only way to stop the alarm once it starts going off, we would need more info about this alarm system to say this is a mistake.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - S4-E9

Corrected entry: During this episode, Jack and Grams supposedly fill out and turn in Jen's college applications. But in reality, this wouldn't be possible because most likely college applications would require Jen's actual signature.

Correction: How would a college know what her signature is suppose to look like, what would they compare it to if they wanted to check it?

pross79

The Hive (2) - S2-E11

Corrected entry: In this episode, Sheppard says something about the puddle jumpers going into autopilot as soon as they enter the gate room; yet we have seen the puddle jumpers move about in the gate room not on autopilot, such as in "The Return". This could be that they disabled the autopilot, but the way it happens with the Wraith Dart seems like you can't shut it off.

Correction: The wraith dart probably does not have the ability to shut off the automatic autopilot, but a ship from atlantis probably would be able to.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Coming Home - S4-E1

Corrected entry: When Jen and Dawson are talking in the darkroom while developing his photos, Jen says, "The way everything went down last year. You know, how you found out and all", referring to Pacey and Joey's secret romance. However, Pacey and Joey didn't become involved until well into the Spring, and just before that same Summer. So it really wasn't last year, it was just a few months ago right before Summer break.

Correction: When school years are involved, it is very common to say last year when referring to events that happened the previous school year, even if it was not actually a year ago.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Neverland - S3-E18

Corrected entry: When Ethan invites Jack's father to go to dinner with them, Jack's father is about to put a frozen dinner in the oven. He agrees to go out to dinner, and puts the frozen dinner on the counter behind him. This isn't logical, as generally you would put a frozen dinner right back in the freezer if not using it. Otherwise it would thaw out and have to be refrozen.

Correction: There are plenty of frozen dinners that let you choose to cook them when they are frozen or thawed, if that is not the case this is just a character mistake.

Dawson's Creek (1998)

Cinderella Story - S3-E17

Corrected entry: When Pacey goes over to Buzz's house to help him make meat loaf and mashed potatoes, Buzz is completely alone in the house. Buzz has made it clear (and mentions it again during this scene) that he is only 9 years old. Pacey also mentions during the scene that it was a 'good thing Mom had to work late tonight'. There doesn't appear to be a babysitter of any kind around. Legally a child under 12 requires supervision, yet Buzz was home alone when Pacey arrived.

Correction: It is not a mistake if a character breaks the law, or uses poor judgment.

pross79

Corrected entry: When Peter is stranded in the countryside after his mini broke down on the way back from the Pileforth academy, Elspeth Lomax gives him a lift. Peter explains to Elspeth he has to stop the wedding, he must get there before it starts in order to do this. Why does Elspeth take a short cut and seem so frantic about getting there fast, surely if she was on her way to the wedding as a guest, she would have arrived before the wedding started anyway. Stopping to pick up peter could only have cost her a couple of minutes at the most.

Correction: Maybe she was already running late, or maybe she was never going to attend the ceremony, just the reception.
