Baby Mama (2008)

Corrected entry: Angie (Amy Poehler) plans to con Kate (Tina Fey) into thinking she is pregnant. And yet the drama at the end of the movie comes from the fact that it could indeed be Kate's baby, due to a possible false negative. If Angie had been planning a con, she would never have taken the hormones or tried to get pregnant at all.

Correction: She only planed the con AFTER she thought that the eggs did not take, meaning up until that time she had been trying 100% in order to get paid and she moved into Kate's apartment very quickly and its very clear that Kate is making her take ALL her medication and more the entire time.

Robocop (1987)

Corrected entry: When the looting in the movie is going on and the villains have to go, one of them says something about getting out of here and pounds on the hood of the car. If you look inside at this point you see the rear-view mirror fall off.

Correction: This does NOT claissify as movie trivia at all.

Robocop (1987)

Corrected entry: After the cops have gone on strike, and we see the bad guy entourage meet downtown, Clarence gets a call as to the location of Robocop. He slams the door to his 6000 SUX and you can see the rear view mirror fall right off.

Correction: And why would this be considered movie triva at all?

Shooter (2007)

Corrected entry: When Gunny cuts through the back seat of the FBI cruiser and pulls out the medic bag he grabs the quick clot and uses it. He has been in the mountains for 36 months as stated on screen so how did he know about quick clot and how to use it. I am a medic in the military and we have just recently (within the last 6 months) been trained on and issued quick clot. Quick clot is very dangerous if not used properly and CAN do more harm than good.

EMTurbo

Correction: Apparently he just got lucky. He was really out of options and did not have very much choice either use the quick clot that he found (the name describes it enough for anybody to know what its for) or bleed to death. He made a snap decision and it ended up paying off and being correct. Also he was using the internet at his cabin on his laptop. Who is to say he did not research the quick clot on military pages while surfing since he is into stuff like that.

Spaceboy_007

If he really did research the quick clot on military pages while surfing, then he would know that you don't quick clot on anything other than the arms, or legs.

He would also know that you don't open quick clot with your mouth. If even a small amount of it gets in your mouth it will cause a very large amount of pain, and a massive case of cotton mouth.

X-Men 3 (2006)

Corrected entry: Juggernaut's power is the ability to gain great strength but only by building momentum. This was proved when the loss of momentum, by locking his arms and legs down in the mobile prison, is how they were able to contain him. However, when Kitty Pryde sinks him in the floor, he bursts out effortlessly, despite having his arms and legs fully pinned down in concrete and unable to gain momentum.

Correction: Even though Juggernaut is not a mutant in the comic that is not how his power works. Juggernaut has uncharted superhuman strength like the Hulk and could have easily broken through the floor like he did. When he was in the back of the truck the point they were trying to get across was that he is so strong that nothing can stop him short of fully restraining him as so he can not move or even wriggle.

Spaceboy_007

Correction: It was most likley a exaggeration that Dr. Evil was making. He wouldn't even be able to move if he was that weight.

Short Circuit (1986)

Corrected entry: When Stephanie is talking to Ben and Newton, she tells them that Number 5 believes he is alive and then instantly points to a monitor in the van without looking into the van prior to this. How did she know a monitor was there, and that it would be displaying "Number 5 Alive" so she could prove her point? (00:46:00)

Padzter

Correction: Stephanie could see the monitor quite clearly from where she was standing. The monitor was mounted on/in the dash of the van and would be clearly visible from somebody standing outside the car. Plus it was beeping and making noise which drew her attention to it even if she was not originally looking at it.

Valentine (2001)

Corrected entry: At the end of the move when Kate is running around the mansion, where did all the party staff go? Would someone as wealthy as the family is supposed to be just leave their house trashed like that?

Correction: All the power was out remember it would be pretty hard to clean up in the dark they may have said they would come back in the morning when there was light to pick up or even by law forced to stop working since there was no light as it can be a unsafe enviroment.

Saw (2004)

Corrected entry: When Dr. Gordon couldn't dial 911 on the cell phone; the fact is that 911 is considered a high priority number, even though the outgoing calls are blocked. It is impossible and against the law for service providers to block 911 calls.

Shooting Script

Correction: I work customer service for a major cell phone provider and it is true that it is against the law to disable 911 from phones but Jigsaw was a demented killer who went into painful detail in planning these events for every event possible. It would not be imposible to access third party software and block the calls directly from the phone after hacking the hex values in the operating system on the phone. I have used such products myself to enable/disable locked functions on my own phone.

Spaceboy_007

Corrected entry: When Melanie wakes up and sees the divorce papers signed by Jake, it's just his signature. There's a visible place for the witness to sign and it isn't signed by anybody. Later, when Melanie is about the sign the papers, there again is no witness to his signature. (00:54:20)

Correction: As clearly pointed out in the movie she forgot to sign the divorce contract at all herself. It is quite conceivable that she also forgot the witness if she even forgot herself.

Spaceboy_007

Corrected entry: In the scene where Melanie's dad is re-enacting the civil war battle, notice in the background the Union Soldiers are carrying a 50 state flag. At that point in time the U.S. didn't quite have that many states. (01:08:25)

Correction: Yes that true but this is a re-enactment that the community does for fun. They needed a flag as a prop for the war they are acting out so they purchased one. And besides that where on earth would they get anything but a current American flag. You can't simply go to you local wall-mart and say "I need your biggest 47 star flag from the top shelf please," sometimes you just have to use what's available.

Spaceboy_007

Corrected entry: In the scene where Austin and Vanessa are unpacking in the hotel room and he suggests that they shag, she reminds him that they are only sharing a room on the "context" of being husband and wife. The word she means is "pretext."

Correction: Human error. Vanessa made a easy mistake in saying the wrong word that any human could make.

Dumb and Dumber (1994)

Corrected entry: The 'Gas Man' thinks Harry and Lloyd know who he is because of the notice they left at the door of their apartment which was directed towards the gas man. But he still thinks it's a good idea to hitch a ride on their van. For a guy who thinks Harry and Lloyd have been following him around for weeks, it's not such a good idea.

Correction: Still, it was a human decision that anybody could have made. Does not classify as a movie mistake.

Varsity Blues (1999)

Corrected entry: When Billy Bob is shooting the trophies out of the back of his truck, he cocks the gun, fires it, cocks it, and talks, then he cocks it again, shoots it, cocks it, talks, cocks it, etc..it's kinda funny, wouldn't he be ejecting live shells every other one?

Correction: Yes he would be, but this is a character decision made by a person undergoing lots of emotional stress at the time. Not classified as a movie mistake.

The Simpsons (1989)

Marge Gets a Job - S4-E7

Corrected entry: When the woman in Krusty's studio says that the wolf gets spooked by loud noises, Krusty mentions "loud" as the day's secret word. There are video cameras in sight, indicating that it was being aired on TV. The only problem is, it's not going to be the secret word any longer if it is revealed like that.

OL1V3R666

Correction: That's the point. Its a spoof of Pee Wee's play house where if a guest said the secret word noises and lights would go off and everybody cheers and yells. It would not ruin anything because it's just a fun play along gag for the kids at home and in the studio to play and get into. I believe the secret word is reveled at the beginning to the audience, just not the guests.

Turbulence (1997)

Corrected entry: The woman in the control tower states that the 747-200 is the most sophisticated airliner around. No it isn't. This film was made in 1997. In 1997 we had Concorde (a little more sophisticated) and we had Airbus, the most automated and computerized airliner around. We also had newer versions of the 747, which were more sophisticated.

Correction: Well the person may have been intentionally trying to make the girl flying the plane feel better and safer, or it may have simply been a character mistake where she meant to say "ONE of the most sophisticated airliners around". Both are very possible.

Tremors (1990)

Corrected entry: It seems as though both Burt and Heather should be at least temporarily deaf after the lengthy gun battle against the monster in their basement, given that they weren't wearing any protection over their ears.

Krista

Correction: They may have indeed been temporarily deaf but we dont know how much time passed before they killed the graboid and then they broadcasted their vicotry. They could have had time to recover.

Fantastic Four (2005)

Corrected entry: Why would a thermometer made for humans, such as the one the nurse uses to take Johnny Storm's temperature, need to go above 125 Fahrenheit, let alone above 200?

Correction: Then why do they make cars that can go faster than the speed limit and saunas or steam rooms that can be turned up hotter than humans can survive? Some products are just made and produced that way.

Spaceboy_007

Corrected entry: In the scene where Charlie is talking to Hennessey after they arrive at Niagara Falls, she says that the guards are at 126.9 megahertz. She would have no way of knowing that. She wouldn't have the time to scan every single frequency.

Correction: She kills a few guards and steals their radios. All she would have to do is listen to see if there was any chatter then remember the setting.

Spaceboy_007

Corrected entry: There was not enough room in that little doll to hold all the kerosene that we see on the outside of the freezer. Even if there was, it would take many minutes in order to fill the doll, especially if the only way to fill it up was from a leaky hole in a kerosene tank.

Correction: The leaky hole in the barrel just gave Charlie the idea. She could have easily popped the head off the doll and the barrel and dipped in the doll and put the head back on.
