I've been looking everywhere for the name of this movie. It's an 80'2 90's drama/scary movie about a couple who are being stalked, or trying to be killed by a police officer. All I remember is that the cop helps them install a home security system and they agree on the password pyramid, and he tells them not to tell anyone what the password is. I remember that they find out the cop is the one after them because he uses the alarm code to enter their house, or something like that. All I clearly remember is the password being pyramid. Please help, if you can.

Question: Why would Alan test an electric fence by grabbing it with both hands? That's like clicking a gun at your head to see if it's loaded. Couldn't he have tried kicking it or maybe tapping it with his hand?
Chosen answer: Alan already knew the electricity wasn't turned on when he grabbed it. He first tested the fence by throwing a stick at it and nothing happened. He could also see that the warning lights on the fence post were off. He only touched the fence cables to play a joke on the two kids, to lighten the mood a little.
Throwing the stick was meaningless and would not have told him a thing. Perhaps, he did so to set the kids up for his questionable joke, given what they'd been through and still were in the middle of.
Answer: The stick testing the fence would not work because wood does not conduct electricity.
Wood contains a good deal of moisture unless it has been completely dried out. That's why electric transmission companies and local electric distribution companies cut branches away from power lines and transmission lines. That said. The stick would have to touch a wire and ground simultaneously. In the movie it was thrown against the fence but was not grounded. I don't think I would have used this test.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
Question: I don't really understand how Voldemort dies. The scene shows Harry and Voldemort fighting with the two spells - Expelliarmus and Avada Kedavra - and the spells collide. Then Harry disarms Voldemort and catches the wand, and then Voldemort just dies. Can anyone tell me why he dies?
Answer: It's a little complicated. Voldemort actually died by his own hand, though unintentionally. Voldemort believed he commanded the Elder Wand and cast the Avada Kedavra curse at Harry with it. However, Harry was actually the Elder Wand's master. Because wands are somewhat sentient, the Elder Wand recognized Harry as his master, so the killing curse rebounded off him, and went back to Voldemort, striking him dead. All of Voldemort's Horcruxes had been destroyed, so he was no longer protected by them. At the same time, Harry cast the Expelliarmus charm, causing the Elder Wand to be ejected from Voldemort's hand into his.

Question: Is the golden head treasure in the cave at the beginning of Raiders the same one used in Jim Carrey's film The Majestic, where his scriptwriter movie has a scene in an Egyptian tomb?
Answer: The idol also appears on a table in Dryden Vos' office in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Interestingly, the crystal skull on top of the same table looks entirely human, and was confirmed to be a reference to a novel called Han Solo and the Lost Legacy rather than to that awful fourth Indy movie.

The Great Gatsby (1974)
Question: I have seen this movie several times, but I have never quite understood the scene where Tom and Daisy's daughter meets Gatsby, Nick, and Jordan (before the group decides to go into town). Gatsby is obviously very shocked at the sight of the child, judging by the way he stares at her. However, it seems that he would have known about her after keeping up on rumors and stories about Daisy for years. Can anyone add any insight or thoughts to the significance of this scene?
Answer: I would say Gatsby knew about the child but suddenly realised she had a life without him and that she loved her children so her leaving was not going to be as easy as he imagined. Gatsby sees both Daisy and Tom in this scene being loving parents (for a minute or so) and it was hard to witness.
Answer: It's not known if Gatsby knew about Daisy's daughter (Pammy) prior to his seeing Daisy again. Gatsby was deeply in love with Daisy before she married Tom, but in reality, she was no longer the girl Gatsby thought he knew. She has become shallow, materialistic, self-centered, and oblivious to much of what goes on around her. Gatsby may be seeing in Pammy how he remembered Daisy once was, innocent and unspoiled. Pammy may or may not become like her mother, depending on how she is raised.
I think he is being wilfully ignorant. He wants to believe that Daisy will walk away from Tom any day now. But the child is a symbol of her marriage to Tom. A result of the life that she built with Tom after she chose to marry him.
I think he knew because Tom and Daisy are the sort of couple who would appear in the society pages of the news. Or have a birth announcement printed. (I've found announcements about older relatives).
Answer: In the book, Nick - as narrator - guesses that Gatsby never "really believed" that the child existed until this scene. I view the girl as a symbol of Daisy's life with Tom. Gatsby wants to believe that Daisy will quickly leave Tom and go away with him, but the sight of Pammy is making him face reality. Daisy comes from a wealthy background, married another wealthy person, and wants Pammy to enjoy a secure, wealthy lifestyle.

Morrison grew up in a military family and his stern parents harshly disciplined their two sons by verbally assaulting them until they broke down in tears, were utterly humiliated and admitted to wrong-doing. Morrison broke off almost all contact with his family after graduating from college.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)
Question: In the Ministry of Magic when they try to get to Umbridge's locket, how does she knows that it's Harry? Did she use some magic?
Chosen answer: Umbridge did not know that it was Harry. During the interrogation scene when they are trying to retrieve the locket, Harry is still disguised as Albert Runcorn by the Polyjuice potion. The only thing that Umbridge noticed was that Harry suddenly produced his wand from his coat sleeve. This made Umbridge suspicious and she asked "Albert" what he was doing. That is when the polyjuice potion started to wear off and Harry was transforming back to himself, but he "stupified" Umbridge before she knew exactly what was happening.

Back to the Future Part II (1989)
Question: At the beginning of the movie, as Doc, Marty and Jennifer are leaving in the time machine to go to 2015, Biff sees the DeLorean fly and then disappear. It perplexes him greatly and he even states, "What the hell is going on here?" 1) Why wouldn't Doc have been more careful when he knew that anyone could've walked out of the McFly house and seen the DeLorean? 2) Why didn't it alter things in the future? Sure, Biff may not have told anyone about what he saw, but it's unlikely since he witnessed such a strange event.
Chosen answer: There's no real explanation about why Doc wasn't more careful, but he is an eccentric person who often acts on impulse rather than logic. It also serves the movie's plot for Biff to be there when he was. Biff in 2015 is an old man, and he is obviously somewhat confused about what he saw. He may well have thought it better to say nothing about it for fear he wouldn't be believed and could be accused of hallucinating the event.

Question: In the last scene, what happened to the man who helped Domino? They all (Bond, Domino and man) jumped from the boat before it crashed into the rocks but only Bond and Domino climbed into the lifeboat. They didn't even try to find him.
Answer: Bond hands Kutze a lifesaver just before they jump off the hydrofoil. Presumably he just floated there before being picked up by the Coast Guard.

Question: I don't understand the connection between "the section" and the human trafficking/child porn network that was mentioned throughout the films. It is my understanding that the section was simply a secret covenant that leaks political secrets. But, some members seem to be involved in human trafficking and child porn (and where sexual predators and sadists themselves) but I don't see what part the section had in it. Can someone explain?
Chosen answer: The section had no direct involvement in human trafficking, but were willing to overlook Zala's activities in it because he had been useful to them and they wanted to keep their relationship with him secret. As was mentioned, the authorities took little interest in pursuing this type of crime because the victims are generally young women who have little or no family ties or other connections and they are often written off as willing prostitutes. They are simply considered too unimportant to be bothered with.

Question: It is stated that Merida is a tomboy. What exactly made her a tomboy in the first place? Can someone also please point out her tomboy behaviors just so I can get a better idea?
Answer: Nothing "makes" a tom boy, it's something they're born with. Some girls, myself included, from earliest childhood, just prefer engaging in sports or other physical activities and like exploring and being outdoors. Merida shows she is a tom boy because she easily adapts to using the bow and arrow and also likes being in the outdoors, hunts, and can use a weapon to defend herself, rather than relying on someone else to protect her. She is a natural-born leader.

I was reading some discussion on imdb and the comments seem to indicate that it was Belinda since neither she nor Dean's girlfriend were seen sitting in the pews with Dean, Eric et al.
