A Matter of Justice - S8-E1

Factual error: About 45 minutes into the episode, the girls' car stalls because the alternator's wire has been removed to cause this. For a car to stall like this, the battery has to be heavily drained which it would wind up being. When the killer comes up to the car, he tells her to try and start the car. She does and it turns over but doesn't start. The battery would never have enough amperage to turn over the car if it didn't have enough to keep the motor running.

Frasier (1993)

Hot Ticket - S6-E4

Character mistake: In the last minute of the show, Frasier and Niles set to leave the bar. Frasier puts money on the bar to pay and the wife comes over and talks to them. Frasier moves the remaining money to his other hand. You can see his hands slightly twitching, and he accidentally drops the money on the floor, but acts like he is putting it in his pocket instead of picking it up, and leaves.

Factual error: About an hour into the movie, while Remo is choking the guy in the car,a meter maid comes up and threatens to hit him with her nightstick. Meter maids in NYC don't carry nightsticks or any other weapons. They barely want them to carry pens. Also, she's repeatedly called officer, they aren't officers either.

terry s

Continuity mistake: When Remo swings out on the pipe at the Statue Of Liberty, in the close-ups, his fingers are in the top of the pipe holding on. In the far away shots, he is holding on around the coupling about 1/2 foot down from the top of the pipe.

The Other Guys (2010)

Character mistake: Will Ferrell is talked into shooting his gun at the ceiling. Keaton comes from his office and takes his gun and gives him a wooden one. The Delta Force (1986)

Revealing mistake: 10 minutes into the movie, the hijacker is at the cockpit cabin door and forces the stewardess to have the captain open it. If you look behind the hijacker at the main cabin door, you can see light coming through it on the upper right each time they show him from the front. It's a sealed plane door, there wouldn't be any light coming through.

The Brotherhood - S5-E4

Revealing mistake: About 20 minutes in, the cops have a newspaper with the headline about the two guys they killed. They turn to page two which has a story about the next guy they are planning to kill. If you look at the picture, it is glued onto the story page. The left side is lifted. The actor must have been hired after the printing.

I Love Lucy (1951)

Lucy and Superman - S6-E13

Revealing mistake: While Lucy is out on the ledge, if you look at the pipe as it runs from above the ledge to below it, the two pieces of pipe don't line up. They are off about the full diameter of the pipe. Also when the pipe pulls out, it's obvious the pipe is on a hinge at the bottom and not really attached to the lower pipe. Later, there is also no stream of water falling from above where the pipe was supposed to be connected as a drain even though it is pouring out.

Out of the Past - S8-E15

Becky's husband puts down "oxygen" on the board in the lower corner with the "O" covering the triple word square. David is counting up the score and says the "X" is on the triple letter box, and totals the points up to 99. The problem is there is no triple letter box next to the triple word box or even on the outside edges of the board.

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Continuity mistake: During the car chase scene with the kids in the street, they show Roy Schneider's car pass the kids who are scrambling to the sidewalk. From the far end of the street they show the cop killer's car, just as it begins to turn off the street. In the background, the kids are in the street, but Roy's car is not seen on the street. The car should have been on the close side of the kids.

A woman opens the door and they start talking about a dating service which he says he doesn't need, and he pushes the elevator down button, which lights up. The doors open and a man gets off. It's going up, which he finds out from an ex-girlfriend on the elevator. The down button light goes out before he gets on to go up with her. The light should only have gone off on the way back down.

Bonanza (1959)

A Girl Named George - S9-E16

Revealing mistake: Jack Albertson's character is taking pictures of The Cartwrights and ranch hands. The video camera moves across the front of the prop camera as Albertson pushes and holds the button to take a picture. The shutter on the camera never opens and isn't open until he releases the button. In those days the shutter had to stay open an elongated time to enable the light to infiltrate the negative. People had to stay still during this time.
