Deliberate mistake: Whenever anyone walks across the front hallway, it takes them 6-7 seconds to walk from one stairway to the other. On the backside of the stairway, it only takes 1-2 seconds to walk across.

Green Acres (1965)

Wings Over Hooterville - S2-E1

Factual error: In a flashback scene, Oliver is hanging from a tree after getting shot down in WWII. They ask him where he is from, and he says the US Air Force. The US Air Force wasn't formed till 1947. During WWII, it was the Air Corps.

Speed (1994)

Factual error: In the bus freeway gap jump, a second after driving off the freeway edge, the bus has fallen beneath that edge level of the freeway. It would be impossible for it to have regained altitude to be above the freeway on the other side. It would have hit at best halfway between the wheels of the bus, if at all.

The Ball Game - S7-E4

Other mistake: Helen is sitting on the first base side, there is a play at the plate and Opie is called out at the plate. Near the end of the show, Helen has a picture she took of the play and it show Opie to be safe. The picture angle is taken almost directly from home plate and at a low angle. The backstop is also blocked half the way up. She would have had to be on the field behind home plate for such a picture. It's also very close up but the camera she is using doesn't have any zoom feature.

Barney Miller (1974)

Uniform Day - S6-E17

Factual error: It is Uniform Day where they all have to wear their uniforms. The badges they all wear are those of patrolmen. The problem is that they are detectives and the NYPD has detective badges, which are distinctly different looking.

Barney Miller (1974)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Hal Linden writes with his left hand, however he uses his right for many things. He ate with his right hand (in Graft), and in the episode where Fish thinks he needs to retire, Barney pulls his gun with his right hand.

Three's Company (1977)

The Money Machine - S8-E3

Visible crew/equipment: Near the start of the show, money comes out of the ATM by error. You can see the money waiting in the slot and the crewmember's hand pushing the money out sporadically. It also comes out sideways sometimes, sometimes not and out of different parts of the slot.

Plain Favorite - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: In the first five minutes of the show, the family tells Schneider that an electrical outlet needs to be worked on. As he starts to work on it, he tells someone to turn off breaker 3. When he is done, he tells the person to turn on breaker 4.

terry s

Whitewater: Part 2 - S4-E10

Bonanza (1959)

The Last Mission - S7-E32

Continuity mistake: Near the start, the sarge orders the men to prepare to mount up, the soldiers walk over to the horses, and are ordered to mount. The soldier right behind the main characters starts to mount but has trouble and falls back down. Then they go to a wide angle shot and everyone is mounted.

Battleship (2012)

Factual error: With about 20 minutes left in the movie, after they show them carrying the shell to the 16" gun, they show the gun barrel being raised to firing position and then being loaded and then fired. The Iowa class battleships 16" guns can only be loaded in the down position.

Flap (1970)

Other mistake: A little more than halfway through the movie, they are robbing the train cars by uncoupling and switching the switch direction back and forth to direct the unwanted engine and caboose to the left branch. He switches the switch to go right for the wanted cars and forgets to switch it for the caboose. If you look at the tracks of the switch, it is already set for the train to go left. He then remembers to change the switch and the caboose goes left where it would have already gone.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end, the line in the play is "The princess is here" an a carpet pulls down the stairs and across the stage. The carpet is a straight line down the stairs. They cut away and when they go back, the carpet is neatly folded into the stairs so the princess can walk down them.

McHale's Navy (1962)

PT 73 Where Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Halfway through the show, they get caught not having the boat, and McHale gets taken by boat to the commander's office. As he leaves the pier, he drops the rope on the seat next to him, they do a close-up and the rope is behind him about 5 feet away.

Adam-12 (1968)

Log 1: The Impossible Mission - S1-E1

Deliberate mistake: Halfway through the episode, they are chasing car thieves in a drainage channel. The thief's car comes to the end of the road and crashes into a deeper gully. You can see that the windshield has been taken out of the car, although it was previously there. They cut away and when they come back, parts of the windshield are back in the car, but the whole center is missing.

Adam-12 (1968)

Goober Takes a Car Apart - S5-E17

Factual error: Halfway through the show, Goober takes the motor out of the car and they start it up in the Sheriff's office. If you look at the direction of the fan, it would be blowing the air forward instead of towards the rear of the engine. It would be fighting the air coming through the radiator instead of pulling it.

Operation Pacific (1951)

Continuity mistake: Towards the end, John Wayne says to run silent and dive deep, but the outside shots continually show them to only be about 25 feet above the bottom.
