Continuity mistake: When Dr. F arrives at the train station there's a lot of smoke/fog around him. In the close-up that comes a split second later it's all gone.

Continuity mistake: Dr. F arrives at the train station and stands to the left of the candle light. A second later he is right in front of it.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. F climbs up the hay cart, the first wide shot shows him with his waist above the cart. The next shot, from the cart's POV, shows him only shoulder level.

Continuity mistake: In the quarry, Lenny parks his car to the very right of two wagons. Seconds later the car is in front of them.

Continuity mistake: When Lacy shows the mock front page of the Daily Planet she holds it covering the red circle on the top right. A frame later she's holding it several inches down.

Continuity mistake: When Nuclear Man arrives to earth, full of energy from the sun, his footsteps don't glow; neither do they when he arrives to the balcony, several scenes later. Then a couple of seconds after they glow but stop glowing when he walks towards Superman and keep that way for the rest of the film.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Gus is waiting on the queue of the employment office, the amount of papers by his feet changes between the close shot and the wide one following.

Continuity mistake: The Soviet missile has legible CCCP red letters, but in the following shot it's covered in snow, although the close-ups don't show any snow falling.

Continuity mistake: When the Soviets are about to launch the missile in the snowy field, there are two soldiers on the right and a third with a black hat running away. A second later there are three soldiers plus the one with the black hat who's now there.

Continuity mistake: When Superman stops the Soviet spaceship from turning around the solar panel is facing upwards, a second later the spaceship has changed position and the panel is sideways.
