Continuity mistake: When Jamal is been helped out of Ed Burnell's wrecked BMW 7 Series, the wrecked car is a late 80s-early 90s E32 model. However when Burnell was driving it at the beginning of the episode, it was a newer late 90s-early 00s E38 model. Again, the production crew couldn't afford to wreck a brand new car so an older one was substituted.

Continuity mistake: When Sara has finished processing Melanie Grace at the slot machine, Melanie gets down from her chair and a uniformed officer can be seen helping her down. However in the next shot the officer has disappeared completely.

Continuity mistake: Marcie Tobin's BMW 7 Series changes from a newer (at the time) E38 model to the first generation E23 when it explodes. Obviously the production couldn't afford to blow up a brand new car so the older model was substituted.

Continuity mistake: The Camaro at the crash scene is a late second generation model (built from 1970 - 1981), however in the flashbacks to the crash it's a third generation car (82 - 92). The difference in body styles is quite pronounced.

Continuity mistake: When Brass is searching for Ellie's car on his in-car computer, it identifies it as a 1976 Camaro, however when he spots it and calls for back up, he says it's a '78 Camaro. Additionally, the licence plate is also different to what was listed on the computer.

Continuity mistake: The magazine in Bond's modified assault rifle changes length several times during the pre credits sequence. Whenever you see Pierce Brosnan's face, the rifle has the bigger 30 round mag, and whenever you don't see his face, this being his stunt double Wayne Michaels, the rifle has the smaller magazine. (This is seen in the jacket collar picture.)

Continuity mistake: When Bond knocks out the MiG's copilot with the helmet, in the shot from behind the pilot (where Bond is quite obviously Pierce Brosnan) he is seen with a Beretta 92FS. However in the shot from behind Bond (now stuntman Wayne Michaels), the gun the copilot drops is now a Browning BDA. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: When Bond tells Renard that Elektra is dead, in the over-the-shoulder shot of Pierce Brosnan, you can see him making faces at Robert Carlyle (just before he starts screaming). However in the next shot of Bond's face, it's as if his face hasn't changed.

Continuity mistake: The gun that Elektra uses near the climax and which Bond takes from her is a Colt Mk IV Series 70. However, when he's on the submarine, it turns into a regular M1911A1. Compare the finish on the wood grips and the fact that the Series 70 has a stainless barrel, whereas the 1911 doesn't.

Continuity mistake: When Alec confronts Bond in the storeroom at the beginning of the film, he's seen pointing a suppressed Browning BDA at him; however in the other scenes the gun switches to an anachronistic Browning BDM (as this sequence is set in 1986).
