Daredevil (2003)

Corrected entry: When Bullseye stabs Elektra, we can see that the sai enters upwards through her stomach and the protrudes through her upper back (as is seen by the stretching of her outfit). However, when he throws her down onto the next building, as she's rolling around, we can see an exit wound (a small bloody hole) in the small of her back, between where her shirt and pants don't cover up her back.

DenizenZERO

Correction: That's not a wound, that's the blood that dripped down from the wound on the upper part of her back.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: After Rain and J.D. shoot the first zombie in white, she suddenly disappears. She disappears with five or six people around. It made so much noise before, it's not likely that it would be able to crawl away without a sound. (00:40:20)

DenizenZERO

Correction: It is possible that it can move away silently - when around 100 zombies come in the same scene, They were only able to hear the one dragging the axe, and they didn't hear them coming up behind Spence whilst travelling through the power/sewer tunnels.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: Throughout the entire movie, when Doc Ock moves around with his tentacles, it's always in very quick movements, with his tentacles pounding into the ground with "boom, boom, boom, boom..." However, whenever someone actually hears Ock coming, (i.e. Harry on the balcony, the woman in the office, or Peter and Mary Jane in the deli) we can hear very long, three to four-second pauses in between the impacts of his extra arms.

DenizenZERO

Correction: Doc Ock uses all four tentacles to move fast providing the quick pounding sounds you hear. As Ock climbs the building or is approaching someone slow, he's only using the two lower arms for walking causing the longer pause in between impacts.

bluedrop90

Corrected entry: Maybe it's just me, but has anyone ever actually heard news anchors report the news like they do in this movie? They do not say that a victim was 'impaled through the head with a ladder.' I figure that they can come up with something a little more tactful.

DenizenZERO

Correction: About a week ago I heard a news report about a man who had a crossbow bolt "driven through his skull." If there are no tactful ways to describe what's happened then they normally describe the situation. The press are not as prudish as they used to be.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: After most of the team is killed inside the chamber with the lasers, everyone else leaves, only to return to find the bodies missing. Granted, it's supposed to be creepy, but there really was no one around to take the bodies or the equipment away. The Red Queen isn't physical, the zombies would have left bones or some sort of mess, and the licker would have also left such a mess.

DenizenZERO

Correction: This may seem wrong but this is actually just a sort of homage to the games. When an enemy or any person in the game is killed and the player leaves the room, when the room is revisited the bodies disappear.

The characters even reference the bodies being gone.

Daredevil (2003)

Corrected entry: When Matt wakes up for the first time as an adult, gets ready and puts on his suit, watch what is right on the drawer when he picks up his watch and sunglasses. Is that a PDA? Why would a blind man have a PDA? It couldn't belong to his girlfriend, because she states on the answering machine that she's never been to his place. I doubt that it's Foggy's, either. So what's it doing there? (00:18:15)

DenizenZERO

Correction: There are special PDAs for the blind. See http://www.nfb.org/bm/bm03/bm0304/bm030407.htm.

J I Cohen

Corrected entry: When they though that Elizabeth was a Turner and they needed her blood, she only got her hand cut. But when Will was about to shed his blood, it was his throat that was going to be cut. What's with the drastic change between the blood getting?

DenizenZERO

Correction: Barbossa says a bit earlier that they would take no chances and use all of his blood instead of a few drops. Another reason is that Elizabeth's company would have been pleasurable afterward whereas Will would just be a bother.

Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, Freddy says that he's been stuck in Hell and searching for somebody for ten years. However, later in the movie, a cop says that they've kept Freddy a secret for only four years. That brings up an inconsistency between the two time tables.

DenizenZERO

Correction: Freddy never states how long he had been searching, he said "I had to search the bowels of hell, but I found someone." So there was never any conflict in time lines.

Corrected entry: The Invisible Man is badly burned by the soldier with the flame thrower during the final battle. Yet at the end, all of his charred skin is healed. Granted, time has passed, but I don't think the amount of time passed that was necessary for that kind of healing.

DenizenZERO

Correction: You never actually saw his skin at the end, he had a coat on. Also, he put makeup on his face, so that was impossible to see.

Correction: The original vampire Dracula was technically like Blade - he could go out into daylight. And it's stated that she was from the original vampire, Dracula. The whole 'can't go into the daylight' thing is only modern vampire myth. They're supposed to be able to go into the daylight like everybody else, they're just not at their strongest.

DenizenZERO

Corrected entry: If the Invisible Man was really walking through the snowy mountains naked, I can't imagine that he'd have gotten all the way to the cave without dropping dead from hypothermia.

DenizenZERO

Correction: This man dances around rainy ol London nude all the time. I imagine his temperature tolerances are quite sufficent to prevent him from passing on outright.

Corrected entry: Whenever they show a landscape littered with human bones there are always, literally, a million skulls, but no other bones from the human body.

DenizenZERO

Correction: Wrong. During the underwater scene near the beginning of the film, you can make out ribcages and other body parts lying around. The skulls are just on top of the heaps, so to speak.

Corrected entry: After the Phantom's men break into Dorian Gray's house, one of the soldiers shoots an amazing amount of bullets into Gray. We can see that his skin heals, but right afterwards, his clothes have magically also repaired any damage from bullet holes.

DenizenZERO

Correction: He changes clothes and returns after the fighting is over.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: This is a small nitpick, but for the trailers for the movie, we're told that if they don't seal the mansion shut in three hours, then the whole world will be infected. In all honesty, that's not once mentioned in the movie. They had to make it out so that they could live, not so that the rest of the world wouldn't be infected, even though that turned out to be the case.

DenizenZERO

Correction: They have to make it out in three hours if they want to live because the Hive will be sealed shut to contain the leak. The reason the commandos are there in the first place is to find out why the Red Queen sealed off the Hive - to stop the virus from spreading.

Mark Cuss

Corrected entry: The TX uses clothes (or copies their form) from the lady in the parked car. Then later we can see repeatedly that she is wearing the lady's earrings. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the TX, a lethal killing machine, putting in earrings. It's a waste of time and the clothes will make her blend in anyway.

DenizenZERO

Correction: Since she's not stealing the clothing, but rather replicating it, why wouldn't she replicate the earrings too? It's not like it would take any extra effort.

X-Men (2000)

Corrected entry: At then end of the movie, Cyclops is watching Senator Kelly on the news, only to find out that it's really Mystique. He sees this because Kelly's eyes flash yellow, like Mystique's. Now, he saw this on national television. If Cyclops noticed this, then certainly anybody else watching would have also noticed that the Senator's eyes flashed yellow. And for anyone who says that it could be explained via 'colour distortion,' certainly the reporters who were actually there would have seen his eyes change color, even for a split second.

DenizenZERO

Correction: They noticed it because they were looking for it. They know Kelly is dead, so they assume it's Mystique. For one thing, they paused the frame, and for another thing the camera pushed in on the T.V. making the image appear bigger than it would be just watching it from your living room. As for anyone there, it was a bust scene. If anyone thought they saw it, for a spilt-second, why would they think it wasn't a trick of the light. The reporters don't know Kelly is dead, and they know nothing about Mystique.
