Continuity mistake: When the bathroom explodes, from one angle we see the toilet come sailing out over the roof of a police truck parked at the front of the house. While the angles make it a bit tricky to judge, there's a definite leftward trajectory. We then cut to a closeup of Murtaugh's car, and the toilet lands on it as if it was flying to the right. Even if the angles are misleading, in the first shot the police truck and other cars are parked to the right of the exploding window. In the shot of Roger's car he's also parked to the right, but without all the cars visible around it which there should be. (00:57:15)

Continuity mistake: Near the start, Julie sits on a sofa when discussing the bribe. In the wide shot, as she says "I wish it were that simple", she rests her left hand on her knee. It then cuts to a closeup for her next line, and her left arm is suddenly along the back of the sofa. (00:13:40)

Continuity mistake: When Kim is watching Edward cut the roses, in closeups she's quite close to the curtain, and it's hanging straight down. In the wide shot she's slightly further away, and the curtain is angled outwards because she's holding it back with her hand.

Continuity mistake: When Joe is chasing Sara near the start, through a revolving door there's a man walking down the corridor from one angle who's not visible from the other side.

Space Quest - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Frasier (and later the others) come back to his apartment to avoid the rain - they shake off umbrellas, and we even hear the storm at the very start of the scene. However there's no rain on the balcony - can't be covered, as we see in "Call Me Irresponsible" during the obligatory sex scene that when it's raining the balcony gets soaked.

Continuity mistake: When their car blows up, look in the background and you can see Friday practically kneeling on the ground, and Streebeck falls over completely. Within two seconds (and a couple of cuts) they're both standing up, fully alert with their guns out - Friday might just have managed it at a push, but Streebeck went from face down on the pavement to upright far too quickly.

The One With Phoebe's Rats - S9-E12

Continuity mistake: Extended version. As Rachel says "the guy hates me", in a wide shot Monica turns to her with her arms by her sides to say "does he?". It then cuts to a shot more focused on Monica where she laughs, and she's now reaching forwards to the table. (00:13:10)

The One With The Princess Leia Fantasy - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: When Joey says "we'll call that plan B, all right?", Monica has her chin in her hand. When it cuts to a different angle, she's got both arms on the table. Rachel also goes from having both hands clasped under her chin to having one arm resting on the table and one reaching for coffee. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: When the cop's beeping his horn outside the car as the spiders jump towards him, he's glaring at the house until the shot of the spider landing on his roof, when he's staring fixedly ahead (not at a spider - there aren't any in front of him). Next shot he's glaring at the house again. (00:53:30)

Continuity mistake: Something weird happens as the sheriff rolls under the closing gate. She's holding a shotgun before she drops to the floor, rolls under with empty hands (seen from both sides), and as she stands up she's got it back. What's weird is that her dropping and rolling is one continuous shot, so she must have deliberately thrown the gun offscreen as she fell to help her fit through the narrow gap. She doesn't throw it through the gap - we'd be able to see it on the other side. (01:02:40)

Continuity mistake: As soon as George Clooney tears up his speech, we see it scattered on the podium. As he leaves the podium, we see his torn up speech placed neatly to one side, but the pieces are quarter-sized, despite only tearing them once. He walks down the aisle, then in the next shot from the podium watching him walk away, the papers are scattered again. (01:12:45)

Continuity mistake: After Cynthia tells Jill she loves Oz in the bank, we see a long shot of the boat and Jimmy has his hand to his ear, looking like he's holding a phone. We then hear a phone ring, cut to a closeup of Jimmy with his hands by his side, and he lifts the phone to speak. (01:30:15)

Continuity mistake: When Frodo and Sam are in the field with the scarecrow, in the close up shot they're a lot closer together than in the wider shot. Nothing to do with perspective - check out the amount of green corn in front of Frodo in the two shots. The scarecrow also changes place and it's sometimes next to some corn and sometimes not. Continuity mistake: When Roger Moore is showing Sloane the bank accounts, he says "5 deposits in excess of $45 million...", but the shot just before that shows deposits of (in thousands), $9,362, $7,215, $9,010, $8,300, and $9,250. That makes $43,137,000, which isn't in excess of $45 million. (00:20:10)

Continuity mistake: When Chandler's in Rachel's office, she tells him the lingerie isn't kept there. He says, "Yes I realise that", and starts reaching for the catalogue she's about to give him. Camera cuts, and he's now standing with his hands in his pockets, reaching out again when she gives him the catalogue. (00:02:40)

Continuity mistake: As Anna approaches Syd in the middle of the field, she reaches her hands up to her belt. In the very next shot from behind her, her arms are by her sides. (00:38:10)

Continuity mistake: When Morpheus rolls out of the way of the Twins' car you can see his smoking, bullet-ridden car in the background. The door's wide open when he rolls, and a split second later when he slashes their car, the door's almost shut. No-one's anywhere near it. (01:25:45)

Continuity mistake: In the freeway chase, just after the brown 4x4 flips over, one of the twins is shooting at Trinity's car. In a shot from the front his head's well above the sights, and he's spraying bullets around a bit. From behind him, he's holding it tight into his shoulder and keeping his fire in one place. Continuity mistake: When they're in the basketball court, Will Smith marches over to Martin Lawrence, saying "you left a strange hooker in my apartment?" He's holding the ice pack in his hand in the wide shot, but in close-up it's not visible. (00:48:55)

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe's trying to make the TV work at the beginning, in the close-ups and the first wide shot the remote's at an angle, but in the second wide shot it's straight. It then goes back to being at an angle. (00:00:15)
