Anger Management

Anger Management (2003)

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene after the huge fight with the Buddists, Jack Nicholson speeds off in his Land Rover and cuts into traffic to get away from the monastary. If you look three cars back there is a state trooper weaving through both lanes to make sure the set is closed. He stays visible throughout the scene.

Factual error: When Dave is at the Yankee game and he is telling Linda he wants to marry her from the field, it is impossible for his voice to ring throughout the whole stadium without a microphone (even though it echoes as if he were using one.). Similarly, he wouldn't have been able to hear Linda when she shouts "I'm over here."

Revealing mistake: When Jack and Adam are in bed together, after Jack's "flatulent" moment, Adam tries to keep from laughing while answering Jack's question. The blanket covering Adam's face is obviously covering up an hysterical set moment.

Trivia: In the baseball scene, Rudolph Giuliani yells, "You can do it!" which is a regular line in Adam Sandler films. Rob Schneider says it in The Waterboy, and then again in Little Nicky. Sandler himself says the line in Schneider's The Animal.

Trivia: Lou (the Mexican guy in the anger management class) has a goatee that looks like a question mark. Could this be because of the "is he or isn't he gay?" theme to him (which is talked about on the DVD)?

Trivia: Meatball the husky cat isn't really husky; he was just wearing a fat suit. The filming crew had to keep fans constantly blowing so he didn't get too hot.

Quantom X

Chosen answer: Tomcats.

Question: Adrian Ricard is credited as Buddy's mother Rose Rydell. How come she doesn't appear in the movie? Has she been cut out of the one-and-half-hour DVD version?

NancyFelix

Chosen answer: Yes, there is a deleted scene where Adam, and Jack visit her in the hospital. I'd also like to say that on the DVD, there is a section with all the deleted scenes from the movie, including the bizarre visit to his whacko mom.

Question: When Dr. Buddy is in the control booth at Yankee Stadium, he's talking to a very old man who he's about to tell what message to put on the scoreboard. The way the film is cut, hanging on the old man for a few extra seconds makes me believe he's someone special in real life, but I saw the movie on a special movie channel promo weekend, and the end credits were squashed up to make room for cast interviews. Anyone know who this elderly gentleman might be?

Krista

Chosen answer: That would be the famous Bob Sheppard. He is the long time Yankee announcer. For more info: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/comment/sbcol15.htm.
