As the window smashes, part of the wooden window frame falls out of the frame and lands on the floor. Next shot, the glass from the broken window is still on the ground for a split second, but no wooden frame.

Revealing mistake: NeverQuest: Just after taking down The Dragon for the first time in the level in the village, a cut scene begins where Homer and Marge start to kiss. The animation on Homer's mouth is seriously messed up as he and Marge kiss. You can see some of his lip is in the corner of his stubble, which isn't normal.

Continuity mistake: Enter the Cheatrix: When Professor Frink shows Bart and Lisa the strategy guide, Frink's left hand is holding onto one side of it. Two of his fingers are located next to Krusty and his little finger is partially obscuring Nelson. The shot cuts to a closer shot and his fingers are suddenly further away from both the image of Krusty and Nelson.

Deliberate mistake: Five Characters In Search Of An Author: Various times throughout this level, Matt Groening draws on some paper and some cartoons come to life. Whenever this happens, he only draws on one piece of paper, yet several pieces of are shown with cartoons on them.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When the Simpsons are watching TV, Homer is asleep and his right arm is on the arm rest beside him. The shot cuts to a closer shot of Homer and suddenly part of his arm is now partially on the cabinet beside the couch.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: At the start of the dream, Homer is standing under a "Land of Chocolate" sign. Three chocolate rabbits hop by Homer, and Homer begins hopping with them. The chocolate rabbits have a light chocolate colour as they hop by, but by the following shot, their skin has become a lot darker.

Continuity mistake: Lisa the Tree Hugger: When the two loggers confront Bart and Lisa after they destroy the factory, one of the loggers is shown standing in front of the other. But in the final shot of them, the two are standing side by side.

Other mistake: Game Over: When Ralph puts down the game controller after he realises the player is looking at him, the controls on the controller don't appear to resemble actual buttons. They look more like circles with no distinct features.

Other mistake: Lisa the Tree Hugger: When the logger finishes telling Bart and Lisa about how his daddy was a logger and his daddy before that, Bart is shown looking straight forward to his left to face the two loggers, before pretending to go to sleep. It then cuts to a wide shot of the four of them, and the two loggers can be seen ahead of Bart to his right. At this angle, he wouldn't have been able to be face-to-face with them if he was facing to the left.

Character mistake: Game Over: After returning from the Game Engine and Bart points out they are still under attack, Marge says "I guess all that's left to do is pray that God saves us." When she says this, Lisa can be seen smiling, but the town is still under alien invasion so there should be no reason to do so. She doesn't come up with the idea to use her Buddha Hand powers to talk to God until right after Marge says the line, so it couldn't have had anything to do with that.

Continuity mistake: Lisa the Tree Hugger: When Lisa asks Bart where he got his super powers, Bart raises the manual to show to her. When he raises it, the manual is at a titled angle. When the shot cuts to Lisa, the manual isn't tilted at all.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When Homer and Bart get out of the elevator after arriving at the theatre, in the overview shot, two lights can be seen on top of the doors to each of the four levels. On the door to the NeverQuest level, the light placed on top of the left-hand side of the door is pointed to the left. In the next shot, the light is pointed directly forwards.

Marge has both hands around Maggie's back and Maggie is hunched backwards. Two shots after when Lisa says "We're in the Game Engine", Maggie is suddenly held upright and Marge's hands have changed position.

Trivia: This game offers 16 levels with different 2-character groupings. There are seven levels with Homer and Bart (eight if you count Game Over for the Wii and PSP versions), three with Bart and Lisa, two with Marge and Lisa, one with Homer and Lisa and one with Homer and Marge. However, there are no levels in the game that feature a 2-character grouping between Marge and Bart. The closest the game ever gets to this is the 4-character grouping Game Over (but only for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions).
