Continuity mistake: During the fight at the apartment, Jack grabs Dylan's gun with a belt and throws them at Agent Fuller, trapped in the sink's garbage disposal. When Fuller is hit, his head is thrown backwards slightly. In the shot following, his head is suddenly facing forwards. This is only visible for a split second, so you'll need to be quick in order to see it. (01:17:35)

Continuity mistake: When Dylan and Alma are on the plane, as the shot pans around to them, Alma has a drink with a stirrer, which is on the edge of the cup. Alma then asks Dylan to pick out a card and put it back in the deck. If you look at Alma's drink, the stirrer is now sticking upwards in the middle of the cup. (00:40:45)

Continuity mistake: When Dylan and Alma are having lunch with Thaddeus Bradley, as Thaddeus says "My first show, I revealed all of his tricks", Alma is looking straight at him with her head slightly shifted to the left. In the next shot, she is looking down on the table, with her head shifted to the right. Theatrical version only.

Yet from a wide angle of the audience cheering at Daniel, the fan is visible, but the guy two places behind her has been replaced by a completely different person. (00:01:15 - 00:01:50)

Continuity mistake: When Merritt is explaining to Dylan what mentalism is, he raises his hands and places them on his head, raising both the handcuffs and the handcuff chains with him. From the first angle, the chain has been raised so it is not touching the table, but when he goes to put his hands on his head in the following shot, a piece of the chain, from both handcuffs, is suddenly resting on the table. Audio problem: When Dylan and Alma are talking with Thaddeus in his dressing room, Thaddeus asks Alma if she is referring to Lionel Shrike and Dylan replies "I'm sorry, who?", but his mouth doesn't move with the line. This mistake is on the extended edition as the scene where they meet is different on the theatrical version. (00:34:00)

The shot changes to them reaching the top of the staircase, and the strap is suddenly off her shoulder and the bag is now behind held by her arm. (00:10:00)
