Now You See Me is one of my biggest guilty pleasure movies. What makes this movie work is that it may appear as a standard action-thriller-caper movie, when in actuality, is a movie that is cleverly plotted, includes well executed twists and turns, as well as subtle hints and clues throughout the narrative that make its twists and turns so much more effective. The movie manages to include a cast of likeable characters that keep the storyline engaging and has a good balance of humour, action and magic. I do have some problems; for one, the editing can be a little too quick. But for the most part, Now You See Me is a fun movie that never takes itself seriously and is something that I can always enjoy.

Plot hole: Each of the four magicians is given a card that reads "MARCH 29 - 4:44PM - 45 EAST EVAN ST. - NY." Yet when they enter the building on that date, they conveniently know which apartment to go to. How? It was never stated on any of the cards which apartment to go to once they reached 45 East Evan Street. (00:08:40 - 00:10:05)
