Continuity mistake: In a flashback of the money being stolen from the vault, the card with the signature is notably in front of the Las Vegas ticket. The next shot where the employee enters the vault, now shows the ticket on top of the card if you look very closely. (00:39:20)
Continuity mistake: For Henley's trick she has handcuffs chained to her and is dropped into a tank. In one of the reverse angles, she has both of her arms stretched out. But in a close-up of her arms, she now has her arms extended with them in front of her. She is saying the same line during all of the shots as this happens so it couldn't have had anything to do with several seconds passing between shots. (00:05:45)
Continuity mistake: Just after Daniel and Henley put the rabbit in the box at the New Orleans show, Daniel closes the lid to the rabbit box. Daniel then says "If you'll say the magic word?" to Henley. Henley at this point, has both of her hands on her hips. Then her hands in front of her belly held together. Continuity mistake: At the apartment, Dylan takes the Guardians of Horus off Alma and goes to the living room and places it on a table. The scene cuts to Alma sleeping and the scene cuts back to Dylan. In the first shot, his gun is placed next to the book and is facing a 7 o'clock angle and is a few inches away from the edge of the table. In the following shot, the gun is now facing a 12 o'clock direction and on the edge of the desk. Extended version. (01:11:15)
Continuity mistake: When Jack performs his magic trick on the spoon, a man figures out how he did it and demands $100. In a close-up of his wallet, the wallet is opened. But in the wide angle, the wallet is suddenly closed. (00:05:05)

Continuity mistake: During their conversation on the balcony, when Alma says "Do you really think it's possible there's a fifth Horseman?", the left side (right side from camera view) of her jumper shows a couple of inches of her shoulder. Continuity mistake: When the truck arrives at 5 Pointz, it rattles when it stops, prompting Dylan to put his left hand on the inside door. His hand appears to be level with his shoulders at first, but when the shot cuts, his hand is much higher up, before moving it away from the door. (01:32:00)
Continuity mistake: Whilst watching the Horsemen's YouTube video in the back of the truck, in the shot of Henley saying "Remember the name Jack Wilder when you see us live. 5 Pointz, Queens, seven o'clock," Dylan can be seen in the corner of the frame, with his hand away from his face. The shot then cuts to focus on Dylan and Cowan, and Dylan's right hand is suddenly over his mouth. (01:31:12)

Continuity mistake: When the Horsemen are getting into their cars to leave the FBI, Evans is standing next to the hand rail. Dylan then runs up to Evans and he remains in his position, but when Fuller runs up to them, Evans is suddenly standing far away from the hand rail. (00:32:10)
Continuity mistake: When Dylan and Alma enter the interrogation room to question Merritt, he starts talking to them, looking straight at them with his head turned to the right, with his hands on the table. In the next shot, he is looking straight forward and his left arm is suddenly raised. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: When Merritt talks about a proud tradition in the FBI of men wearing dresses, Dylan is shown sitting down, placing his left hand on the file and his right hand on the desk. The shot then cuts to Merritt saying "No shame" to Agent Fuller, and suddenly Dylan's right hand is placed on the top right hand side of the file. (00:27:45)
Continuity mistake: In the interrogation room, Dylan grabs Daniel by the hair telling him to answer the question. As Dylan grabs Daniel, Dylan's left arm is mostly lowered, with his forearm raised by a few inches. In the next shot, Dylan's left forearm is suddenly raised further. (00:28:10)
Continuity mistake: Dylan is reading Merritt's file and says to Merritt "Says here you are a mentalist. So what exactly is mentalism?" When Dylan finishes saying "Says here you are a mentalist", the shot cuts to Merritt. Between this shot and a shot of Merritt two shots afterward, the chains on Merritt's handcuffs that are laid across the desk change position without him moving. (00:28:25)
Answer: The mirror was inserted at an angle, so that the reflection was the ceiling and not what was in front of them. It's the same principle for how periscopes work.
