Continuity mistake: When the audience's account balances start rising, Dylan asks Fuller if it is for real. The scene cuts to Fuller in the van. To the side of him is a woman on a computer. Continuity mistake: During their conversation on the balcony, when Alma says "Do you really think it's possible there's a fifth Horseman?", the left side (right side from camera view) of her jumper shows a couple of inches of her shoulder. Continuity mistake: When Jack's car is crashing on the bridge, there is a shot where the car stops flipping and comes to a stop. The shot cuts to Dylan and Alma in the car, but when the shot cuts back, the car is still flipping. (01:24:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thaddeus explains to Dylan and Alma the Horsemen's first trick, he asks his assistant to get the teleportation helmet for Dylan. As Thaddeus' assistant reaches down for the helmet, Dylan is looking at Thaddeus, not smiling. In the next shot, Dylan is suddenly looking at Thaddeus' assistant with his head turned 90 degrees, now smiling. (00:35:30)
Continuity mistake: When Merritt mind reads the cafe guy, he "picks up a woman's name" and starts saying "A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H - I - J - Janet." In the rapid shot of the man's mouth when Merritt says this shows his head in fixed position. But in the rapid shot of the man's eyes when Merritt says this now shows his head shifted a bit. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thaddeus goes into the Horsemen's room to wish them good luck at the New Orleans show, Jack is seen moving from one side of the couch to the other when Merritt says "Do you mind if I do a quick read on you?" Continuity mistake: As Alma shows Dylan the Lionel Shrike book, the book is raised to the top of her neck in this shot, but suddenly lowered several inches in the next shot. (00:45:25)

Continuity mistake: In a flashback of the money being stolen from the vault, the card with the signature is notably in front of the Las Vegas ticket. The next shot where the employee enters the vault, now shows the ticket on top of the card if you look very closely. (00:39:20)
Continuity mistake: Daniel finds his card. In a close-up of the card, he has his 4th finger placed on the side of the card, his thumb placed on the bottom of the card and the other three fingers hanging freely. Yet in a reverse angle of the card where the camera is in front of Daniel, he has all five fingers placed on the left side of the card. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: (Extended Version) After Dylan Rhodes has been tackled by the 12 hypnotized audience members and the Four Horsemen are ascending above the stage, a guy in a grey suit and Alma Dray can be seen standing next to the audience members on the stage, with the guy pulling one of them off Rhodes. A wide shot is then shown and no one is standing beside the pile (Dray is visible, but is almost off the stage). (01:03:30)
Continuity mistake: After Fuller states to Dylan that the Horsemen have tracking bracelets, Dylan is on the balcony looking at a crowd. He is then joined by Alma and he turns his head to her. In the following shot from behind the two, Dylan is now suddenly looking at the crowd. (00:46:10)
Answer: The mirror was inserted at an angle, so that the reflection was the ceiling and not what was in front of them. It's the same principle for how periscopes work.
