Character mistake: When Brennan's brother is talking to Jack in the kitchen, he is holding a Heineken beer. However when he goes out in the tree house and shows the brothers his six pack, he claims he hasn't had a carb since 2000.
Step Brothers (2008)
1 character mistake
Directed by: Adam McKay
Starring: Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Richard Jenkins, Mary Steenburgen, Adam Scott
Genres: Comedy
Continuity mistake: When Dale tells Brennan he needs to hear him sing, Brennan has a sword and is swinging it around. After he sings, he gets up and the sword is shown on the floor in its scabbard. They flash to Brennan, then back to Dale and the sword is gone.
Suggested correction: He places it down before sitting on the bed to sing.
Dale Doback: Oprah, Barbra Walters, your wife. You gotta fuck one, kill one, and marry one, go!
Trivia: Mary Steenburgen plays Will Ferrell's mother in the movie, even though in real life she's only 14 years older than him.
Question: Is Jack Handle actually a person in Step Brothers? Cause if so, we only hear his name when Robert announces that's who he will be moving in with.
Answer: I doubt it's a person. Jack likely refers to Jack Daniel's, and a handle is usually referred to as a half gallon. Hence the name Jack Handle.
