Deliberate mistake: Jay and Silent Bob are kicked off the bus to Hollywood because they don't know they have to buy a ticket. However, in 'Chasing Amy,' Jay tells Holden that he and Silent Bob are taking a bus to Chicago. Jay even has what appears to be bus tickets in his front pocket, so he knows a ticket is needed for an interstate bus. And even if he thought it was free then, he would have found out about needing a ticket much earlier. Obviously, the earlier scene was disregarded for the sake of the joke.

Continuity mistake: Near the end when Jay and Silent Bob fight Mark Hammil, Jay takes out the double sided bong saber and takes a hit from it; you can see the plastic lightsaber part of the other blade in the corner of the screen. It's white and green.
Jay: Hey, aren't you the guy that fucked the pie?
Jason Biggs: Yeah, yeah. You see? You see? It's never...it's never "Hey you were in Losers, weren't you?" Or "Dude, you rocked in Boys and Girls." No, it always comes back to that fucking pie. I'm haunted by it!
